On this one tv show I was watching the other day, the couple on it had named their two daughters McCartney and Lennon Facepalm I think those would be cute names for boys, but for girls, they just sound really ridiculous.

My cousin just had a son and named him Bratley. Brat for short.
Needless to say, she's not all that bright.

Nevaeh. It's probably been mentioned before, and probably by me, but oh my gawd, what makes people name their daughters that.
My mom works in the ER of a hospital near the ghetto, and they ghetto baby mamas come in with their kids (who have had fevers for two weeks, but that's a different stories) and when the nurses ask for the name they always say, "Nevaeh. You know, 'heaven' backwards?"
    Can't stand it.

    Rebel.
Why would you name your child Rebel? And it's a girl, too.
    Facepalm
Do you want a rebellious child that hates you and goes against everything you say? Because it seems like you do.

I get bored of hearing about mythological baby names; Greek/Roman ones particularly. It seems like it's done in an attempt to be original but it's not original at all.

I want to name my kid Fletcher despite the gender and every time I say that, people literally tell me my kid will hate me for it. I think it's adorable... Shifty

I also like the name Oswald, but people scoff at that too.

There's a girl I used to go to high school with named Shauntorius. And another girl named Sparkle. And then there was a boy named Flansworth after his grandmother's maiden name... XD

It's really silly of me, but I don't like the whole making-surnames-first-names thing, especially for girls. I know loads of names that are well-established as first names come from / are / were surnames and vice versa...but it still bugs me. XD

I once saw a commercial for magical shampoo, and this one girl named Naja was talking about it. Her name sounds like "Nausea." Just...no.
