^ I've heard people say they love it or hate it. I think it's one of those books where there's no middle ground. I think it's because of the way the author writes. I'm reading it now and like it - unlike half my English class.

^ I thought it dragged a bit. I only read about...half before I got distracted by a different book. :/ I want to read the whole thing again though.

I want to read The Virgin Suicides, too.

I found it boring when we read it in English (partly because our teacher really reads into things and flogged it to death), but I really liked it afterwards. Simon was my favourite.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd like to read The Catcher in the Rye and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

I personally think that the films are nothing compared to the books, but that's probably because I've been reading them since I was about eight. In Love So I'd definately recommend checking them out.

I really want to read Animal Farm. I can't find a copy of it anywhere nearby, so I may have to go online and buy it, or to London or Brighton and buy it.

^ Haha, same here. The books > the films.

I dunno, I personally hated Animal Farm.

Hahhaha "Twilight, so I can bash it more". That made me laugh so hard, thank you. ;-) And when you get the chance to read those other books, you will love them. They are all amazing books. I also recommend some of Lisa Jackson's works. You might like her. :-P

I really want to read the Ender's Game series. One of my friends has told me that it's amazing.

And the rest of MaryJanice Davidson's ( I think) Betsy the Vampire Queen books. Read the first four, loved them and need to read the rest.

Scourge of God by S. M. Stirling.

Go Ask Alice and Suicide Notes. They have both managed to capture my interest in some form or another.

A lot of the girls at school here have read it. I've heard it was good, so I want to read it too.
