Nikkita Greenly is a successful wedding planner living in the heart of St. Louis with her business aficionado boyfriend, Lucas. When Nikkita meets TJ Oshie during multiple chance encounters, her life begins spinning out of control. Her usually well-organized life no longer fits into a neat little portfolio, and to make matters worse, she soon discovers that the playful boy she meets on the streets is best friends with the groom of one of her clients. TJ’s presence in her life causes her to question what it really means to be happy, and she learns that not everything fits into her white picket fence.

Alyssa-anne does an incredible job telling the story of Nikkita Greenly’s life. The chapters fly by as readers see Nikkita’s relationships with her many new acquaintances blossom and become true friendships. There are several characters with starring roles, each with a personality so unique that nearly everyone can find a character to relate to.

The plot lines flow together seamlessly and each new twist leaves readers wanting more. While the story doesn’t focus on TJ’s hockey career, readers are able to see what a hockey player’s life could be like outside the rink, and the picture alyssa-anne paints feels as though it could be true. Come Down’s beautiful ending ties up all the story’s loose ends and finishes the story off perfectly.
