In her story, Ashley tells the tale of Constance Ramone, a mermaid who was born to rule her kingdom, and how she caught the eye of Jacob Black and ended up living with the Quilete pack. Constance is an adventurous soul, though due to her Aunt Irena, an evil sea witch who wants to kidnap Constance for her powers, she is kept under the watchful eyes of many guards and isn't allowed to leave the kingdom for her own safety. However, like any rebellious teenager, this doesn't keep her from doing as she pleases, and after surfacing from the ocean, she is seen and imprinted upon by none other than Jacob Black. After a series of events, Constance is upon land and tries to restrain herself from falling for Jacob while trying to keep the fact that she's a mermaid a secret.

Constance is a magical story to read. AshleyxTwilightx's use of words is sophisticated and smooth, the transitions between each paragraph is perfection, and of course, the visualization is superb. The emotions that Constance conveys are so powerful that they can truly move you and make you feel everything Constance is going through, from total elation to utter heartache. It is a story that leaves the reader always wanting more.
