The job of a reaper is hard, but Olivia manages to do an exceptional job of juggling the task and her everyday life. Everything changes when Sam Brooklyn, another reaper, steps into her life. This boy brings about many new experiences for Olivia, and along with this new addition to her life, something is taken away.

In this incredible original fiction, Olivia is taken on a journey unlike any I’ve read before. There are monsters, other realms, and gruesome murders. Best of all, this modern day fantasy contains all the elements I look for in a story: exceptional writing, interesting characters, and a unique plot. To me, Hourglass is a triple threat that deserves all the recognition in the world.

I recommend this story to anyone who is a fan of drama, fantasy, and all things paranormal. Readers who are fans of novels like the House of Night and Immortal Instruments series will love Hourglass.
