Jack has known her entire life she was different, there was never any doubt about that. She was never societies idea of a normal child; she was faster, stronger and smarter than any of the other children.

It is upon her first meeting with the boys of Avenged Sevenfold that there is an undeniable connection, a chemistry unlike any other. It is quickly revealed that Jack is actually the product of M. Shadows and his wife, Val. The couple knowing their world, the world of the supernatural, was hardly fit to raise a child in, had entrusted old friends to raise their beloved Jack. But much to the couple's dismay, Adairus, the man they so deeply trusted, would make sure their daughter was exposed.

Through it all Jack manages to find love in her father's longtime friend, a man who has waited 300 years for her love. In all of Jack's heartbreak, Brian, the man who has consumed so many of her dreams, will become her savior - the love she has truly waited a lifetime to find.
