haha, not at all! i've also been severely lacking on the updating front. i just returned home from college and have been employed within a few weeks. this really cuts down my writing time, which disappoints me immensely.

and you are correct! i am from new york, though i live in florida because that is where i go to school (: i prefer the warmth much more than the cold winters back home.

i've never been to england, though i've been dying to visit. it sounds like fun. (:

and i love jane austen. 'sense and sensibility' is one of my favorites. (: i'm never without it.

yeah, i'm pretty sure i'm going to finish 'this is only a test', post my gerard story, and then go into the sequel of billie joe. just to kind of split it up. i used to write, like, five stories at the same time, and it just got too complicated and they all ended up sucking, so i deleted all of them and started from scratch.

i think maybe for the rest of 'this is only a test' i'll continue with the billie being cute and whatever, then for the sequel once the main character gets used to being away from her parents for good, he'll go back to that original, suave-esque character. i don't know. i'll tackle it as it comes, i suppose.

i'd be happy to offer constructive criticism of my own, if you'd like it. (:

yeah, we're in the same boat, i suppose. i've been writing a gerard way story on the side that i really like, so i find going back to billie is getting increasingly more challenging.

i'm glad you like it; seriously, when i started writing it, i was really skeptical, but people have been giving me really good feedback which i'm grateful for. i'm like you in the fact that i cannot read a story if it's lacking in spelling and grammar. a pet peeve, if you will. (:

and i think you've hit it right on the head. writing billie joe is a difficult task to begin with. i started him as like the sarcastic, witty, in your face kind of character, and now he's like a pushover. i can't really decide in that respect, which does make the task a bit daunting. :| it's almost like i know how i want the story to go, but i just can't get it there. thank you for your comment, by the way. it's nice to talk with someone who knows writing. (:
