That's terrible! I'm sorry that happened.

My school is unhealthily competitive, so a B is a score you never want to see.

Spelling in Spanish is especially easy because each letter has a specific sound it makes, and it only makes that sound. My vocabulary is incredibly limited in Spanish. I'm on a second grade reading level, I think. XD

I'm pretty sure that as soon as I get college acceptances, I'm going to be able to relax.

Exactly. We just learned about the life cycle of a star, and it makes me incredibly sad. Nobody gets why. I mean, the star is doomed from the very start. It's destined to become this lonely, cold ball of carbon just drifting aimlessly through space. We, at least, when the sun reaches the red giant phase, get to escape. When the photons hit us with that much momentum, they will accelerate us to escape velocity. We get to leave. The sun's going to be here, just cold and alone forever and ever. It's sad.

Er, anyway... It isn't fair to give someone detention for failing. It's unethical, because it takes away time that they could be using to study or something, and instead forcesthem to be useless for two hours.

I'm not sure why they do so, either. It doesn't make sense. Why can I buy one at noon but not at midnight? I wanted that to be the first thing I did as an official adult.

Yeah, I was just being overly sensitive on my birthday. I was already angry about the whole detention thing, and then I was left alone on my birthday for several hours, made my own cake, and at the end my present was broken. Oh well. I exchanged it earlier today for a new one. It was a CD player, and the one I replaced it with is cherry red! It makes me smile.

Now I think it's time to end this obscenely long comment.

Thanks for the advice. It's just school, after all. I'll get the teachers from the subjects I'm good at to write my reccomendations. Sounds like a good plan to me, at least.
My Physics teacher made me really angry because he gave me a detention for failing. This is not really ethical. He did it anyway. This goes on my permanant record. I am displeased with him.
So, I turned 18 an hour ago. I went to the gas station to buy a lottery ticket. The cashier informed me that they stop selling them at midnight. I was upset. I told him my life was over and walked out.

I'm really bad at History. I'm ok at English Spanish, and Chemistry is passable. Everything else is just awful. Oh well. I'll just have to get over it so I can graduate and go to Virginia or New York or something.

I'm ok. Trying to work on my NaNo. It's going ok, I guess. 20k words so far. I'm hoping to have 30k or so by my birthday.
I'm not doing so well in my classes. I'm failing two of them, I do believe. Unpleasant. How about you? What's been going on in your life?

A friend of mine has those piano hands :P
But his are like all skin and bones :S and they're always really dry and it's creepy because he's a really touchy person and I freak out every time I see them xD

And my friend who dyed her hair red used a professional dye that turned out incredibly not like it was on the bottle. So I get what you're talking about when you say that dyes do that.

Stephen Kings pretty bawler. I own a few of his books, and I never read Twilight so it's fair to say that I have no opinion.
