Oh, I LOVE the Foo Fighters! I'd have to say my favorite song (live) by them is "Best of You." But I've gotta say Skin and Bones...it just...wow. I don't know.
Haha what about you?

All my friends think I write about murder and violence. Which I don't. Cause I'm a pansy.
I have. I read AfterEllen a lot because I forget about autodtraddles existence. But the fact that AE is owned by Logo does restrict its contact to being really diplomatic and PG-14.

Oh wow. My Mom would never do that. Hehe. Although when my sister talks about sex with men my Mom is like "OH MY GOSH YOU'RE GROSSING OUT YOUR SISTER SHUT UP." So.
My best friend nags me to read my stuff all of the time. I can only say "no" so many times. She'd be kinda uncomfortable reading my stuff anyway.
I've been writing since I was quite little. I think my first "real" story was about faeries when I was about eight and I typed it up on a typewriter. Haha. I should be better at it by now, but eh.

I find that's quite common. I was at a secondhand "alternative" bookstore with my mother and she was obnoxiously shouting to me across the store about the fact that they had a queer literature section and when I came over to look at it to appease her, it was all just a bunch of porn and like "the lesbian kama sutra" and stuff.

I think I can successfully teach myself how to play the bass, so I won't bother with lessons. At least not now, I can't really afford it.

I always get nervous about posting stuff, too. But then I don't really care because no one actually knows me here. If any of my friends were on Mibba, I probably wouldn't. I don't let anyone I actually know read my stuff.

It turned out to be pretty functional.
Really? haha. That's interesting, I would not have expected that.
I got a bass guitar. :D Except there's five strings, so it kinda threw me off for a second.
I see you put up a story. xD

Hehe. My family is the opposite. They love being around each other. My mom&I are kinda like black sheep living in a different state than them. But it's definitely on purpose.

We basically just eat, too. But my grandfather's new wife is a big Christmas fanatic so she makes enough food for 100 people. But I love eating, so it's pretty awesome.

It's all good. Did you know she played the lap steel on The Con? Knife Going In, to be specific. I think. ?

Do you and your family do anything special on Christmas Eve?

Me too! She kind of amazes me. That's a really hard question. Montreal, My Nerves That Committed Suicide, and Life Being What It Is jump to mind. What about you?

So I was told, anyway.
It's all right, I love talking about music. I've definitely heard of her but I have never listened to her. But I absolutely adore Rachael Cantu, so I should. :) What about you, do you know Kaki King? (It's possible you've confirmed or denied this in the past, but my memory is awful.)

It's usually pretty cool. We get to eat food, so.

Yes, I have! It's so adorable. I think their Mom was on that track, too? I think that's a pretty fitting song for them to cover. They also recently covered Suffer by Bad Religion, which sounds amazing.

Okay, I'll check them out.

Oh, wow, that sounds kind of awful. :/ I'm spending it with a small portion of my family. But my divorced parents and my Dad's girlfriend are involved. It's wonderful, wonderful. But most of the people aren't at all religious so we don't have to go to church or anything.

'tis a good point. It's hard to break a cello beyond repair. Two or so years ago a boy in my Orchestra class dropped his cello walking home from school and it was pretty fucked up, but it was still cheaper to repair it than to buy another one.

Their name rings a bell. I'm not quite sure if I know who they are. But I adore music with string instruments. That's a big reason why I love Amanda Palmer's solo music.

Cello's are pretty expensive to buy. I would love to have one but I can't even begin to afford it. It's good to be positive that you'll play it.

Well, I don't really play the guitar. Not well, anyway. I just found it so I figured, why not.
Not really. I'm hoping for a bass for Christmas (small chance of it) because it seems like an easy instrument for me to learn since I know how to play cello.

I'm gonna have to get some one to change it for me, 'cause I have no idea how to do that.
Oh wow! I've been playing the cello for about four years. Not very long, and I haven't improved much either. It's been a long time since I've picked one up, as well. Do you own a cello or do you rent?

Thanks. :) It's missing the B string right now, though. :/
Re-reading your profile, I can see you play. I forgot, since my memory is shit. How long have you been playing?

Ah, I love the cello. I'm not very good but I can play a C major scale. xD
Good luck, it's a beautiful instrument. I've been trying to teach myself the guitar because there was one sitting in my sisters old closet and she didn't want it so I figure, why not?

Yeah, I was away from the Mibba portion of the internet for a while. But yeah, I've been good. :)
How about you?
