I know you're not active on here anymore, but, I read this story years and years ago and I still think about it to this day. I literally just spent 2 hours searching for it because I couldn't remember what site I had saved it on. If you haven't already, please consider self publishing this, or trying to publish it through normal channels. It's an amazing story (the original one--I remember reading the ending) and it deserves to be told in full.

also, wow, the last comment was from 5 years ago. that's how long I've been thinking about this story/book.

Heeeey!
Sorry, I don't have twitter. If I do decide to make one, you'll be the first one to know. I do have facebook (although I barely open it, but if you have fb, I'll send you the link in inbox so you can find me.)
I'm on vacation right now and I'm changing the story a lot. I reread it after 11 months of hiatus and found sooooo many things wrong with it that I immediately started editing it like crazy.

I changed the dialogue a lot, it just felt stiff. I kept the characters, but changed their personalities and backgrounds hoping to give it more depth. I want to focus on all the characters and their stories and not just boost the protagonists. I also added and cut away some events. Speaking of events, I have a little trouble connecting the "important" events I had in mind since I first started writing the story, that's why I took it down both from inkpop (Well, figment now) and mibba. But, if you are interested, when I make some progress, I'll send it to you as Word file :D

Anyway, how has life been treating you? :D

P.S. When I read that someone has been posting your story as their own, I really got mad. I know that it's not easy, but you should really try and get it published because from all the stories (and even books) I've read(and trust me, I've read a lot), SS&OE is the only one that I still vividly remember. That story just has heart and your writing has a perfect flow. Are you posting it somewhere now?

Hi there, im not sure if your still on here. However i started reading your story Summer Skies And Ocean Eyes. Its honestly such a beautiful piece, i immediately fell in love with it! I'd like to carry on reading it, i tried the link on inkbook and it didnt work? I also tried searching for your story on Figment as inkpop is apparently a part of it now. I was wondering if you could maybe help me, i looked online to see if it was published as i would totally buy it however i had no luck with that either. I reallyy must read it to the end, I'm dying of curiosity as it is such an amazing heartfelt story! :)

Hey!
Ibm I noticed that you write in your authors note for ss&oe that that would be the last update Im mibba. You also asked that we make inkpop accounts and vote your story for top, which it definitely deserves :) but will you post the entire thing on inkpop or will this be the last chapter of ss&oe we will see until it gets published?

hey!
just wanted to say i love your story! one of the best on this site :)

also, if you want to cut back on words, perhaps cut out the character Lilia? She's heaps cool, i agree, but she doesn't add anything to the story and I found myself skimreading those bits with her cause it got a bit boring. You could also remove that part where Jon finds out tommy stayed in her room and then gives her a lecture in his study. That was also a bit unnecessary, and it wouldn't affect the rest of the story, she'd still want to hide the fact that tommy comes to her room at night because it's pretty obvious that that would be a house rule!
keep on wriiting!

Hi! First off, I looooove your story so much. I've been reading it ever since you were on Quizilla. This version is amazing by the way, it has so much more depth and better written than the original. That is meant as a compliment in the sincerest way :) honestly, I made a mibba account just so I could read your story. Soooo yeah! I just wanted to comment since you always mention how much you appreciate them. Thanks for sharing your story with us, it's truly wonderful.

I was bored so I decided to make you covers for Inkpop. You don't have to use them if you don't want to.

I think your original title for your book is the best!
Why would you want to change it?
Summer skies and ocean eyes is an attention getter
plus I think it encompasses the setting very well
just my two cents :)

Oh jeez. I apologize for my laziness, and the fact that I don't check my email enough.

But, good thing you only love creepers on mibba. Real-life ones are a bit....creepy. XD, well no actually, you should dislike all creepers, because they're slightly insane in the head

Haha, Yeah, the weather's amazing right now. Sunny days with blue-blue skies, the temperatures rocketing up to 80. It reminds me of spring(: and when I think of spring, i think of my birthday. Generally spring makes me happy all around. But, the thing is, because I live so close to the equator, I've only seen snow once in my life, and that was when I was four The fact that florida was the only state without snow, in the U.S. a while ago, made me kinda sad.
i'd like to see snow a bit more, and actually be able to form an opinion on it.

Yeahh, I'm kinda debating whether, I want to put my story on there, before I put it up on mibba? because they're so... more writer based. Like, they're more professional, and the story process is a lot more rigorous. Here on mibba, it's a little bit more loose, and you can have layouts, and write about insane things and no one cares if you do. (But the thing that, would make mibba the best, is that if we had like a column for all the ten star stories or something like that.)

but my whole point is (sorry, i like to ramble. Blame my mom.) It shouldn't be intimidating to you, the whole picking process, and what I would do if I were in your shoes and put your story up on inkpop, would be that I ask for a couple swaps every now and then, but I would let your amazing story stand on it's own. Trust it would be able to get to the top five.

Haha, I already have an inkpop profile. So, when you do put your story up there, I'll be sure to give you a lonng, raving, comment to set an example for others.

XD

-Hope.

Hi! I read your other version of SSOE on quizilla (a while back) then followed your story here and I love it! Its so cool to see all the new things you've added and changed from the older version to now. Hehe, and I feel like I have an in on your story since I'm Hispanic and understand the Spanish in your story. Oh and, google translate isn't always the best way to translate English to Spanish because Google tries to translate every word litterally so the sentence doesn't really sound right. For example in your last chapter when Tommy said "Yo soy bueno", he's saying that he's good but as in he's a good person. It would've been better if he said "Yo estoy bien" which translates to "I'm fine" its just little details that make Spanish complicated...If you want to communicate faster I'm hellofriend16 on Twitter. I'm really sorry if this comment annoyed you in any way!
