The name's Hope, and I've just been totally creeping on your Mibba account, and reading your story.
Which by the way is totally supercalifragilisiticexpeladoucis,
(^in my world that stands for freakin' awesome.)
I know, I may sound annoying and what not, but I just wanted to tell you your story is amazing, and you portrayed Florida realistically.

I'm actually a Native Floridian(: and I [i]know[/i] Florida Summers like no other.
It normally frustrates me when I read a story and it takes place in Florida, because no one can just write about the summer heat, and say [i]nothing[/i] about the freaking humidity. XD, but you did well.

Anyways, the whole point of this is, that I know you'd once been on quizilla, and now you've made the jump to Mibba. I think there's a website that may interest you (not spamming you at. all.) but I think you would get a lot out of this story on that site. because if your story gets into the top five picks, which I'm totally sure your story could do. [b]HarperCollins editors read your story and give you professional advice[/b] and the account and everything's free.

I think you should at least checkout the website, it can't hurt, I think you would be able to get to the top five easily.

By the wayy, I [i]swear[/i] that this is not spam. I just think you would like it. and it's all legit. Plus, there are some pretty cool stories on there. The authors over there are just a little bit more serious about their writing. But the only downside is that there's really no layouts for stories/:

Hi! I just re-read that section of chapter 7 and I think it's much better! It seemed more natural, and I thought it flowed with the rest of the story. Like you said, you did keep a lot of the dialogue, so you still got in all the information you needed, but with just a few changes Poot seemed more like himself and everything was in character.

I've never even seen snow, seeing as I've lived here my whole life.
But yeah I consider it a small town, only because I know the place like the back of my hand.

I'm not very familiar with the "rich" part of town. That would be considered 5th Avenue where all the rich people shop. Haha. But yeah, I live in what's considered the "ghetto" part of Naples; Golden Gate.

Though it's not ghetto at all. People talk a lot of crap about Golden Gate High School when it's actually a really good school. Naples High, is considered the snobbish school, but their athletics department is indeed outstanding. It's right across from the mall, so I consider them lucky. x)

I guess to tourists, Naples really is a beautiful place. All depends on where you go, 'cause there are nasty parts of this town. But there are definitely plenty of palm trees. Haha, and alligators, considering it's too cold for them in Michigan. Hell, you can sometimes see them walking on the side of the road.

If you ever need help with locations, attractions, and whatnot you can always ask me. :)

Summer Skies and Ocean Eyes is so good! I agree with everyone on here that you should publish it. I would definitely buy it :) I don't know if you know her but your story reminds me of Sarah Dessen's books. She's one of my favorite authors so I hope you take this as a compliment haha. Can't wait to see what happens next!

That's quite all right! We all have those technological-blank moments. The story was just so fresh and appealing, I had to share it with whatever readers visit the site! :)

I just wanted to let you know that, I read Summer Skies on Quizilla ad always thought that it was one of the best stories written on there. I'm usually more on wattpad but I remembered about your story and how muchI loved it so i went back to your page to see if you had written anything else. I saw that you were editing it on here and decided to read the first chapter. It is absolutely brilliant! 10 times better then the first chapter on quizilla and it was already really good. I can't wait to read the rest of it!

Personally I like the one with the girl for your story (feel free to disagree with me) because she has that caramel / blonde hair you describe in Calico. I think I can make the textures less busy, I can use others. So what do you think? :)

And I have a layout that I am not using, it's about the sea, I think I showed it to you but if I haven't, I'll send you a link in my next comment. If you don't like it, you can simply tell me what colors do you like, the picture that you have in mind (please let it be a clear one and horizontally rectangular) and I will provide a large amount of textures that we can use and everything. I will give you, actually I have two layouts involving the ocean that I'm not using. I would be more than honored if you used them. I shall give you links in the next comment and if you like them, I will give you the codes via inbox. If you don't, you can describe what you like and I will try to do them for you. Tomorrow I have nothing to do, so I'm free.
And thank you! I have two stories on Project Fiction, Sentinels and Touch of Ivory. Her Flux used to be on that list too, but I asked them if they could swap it with Touch of Ivory because Touch of Ivory is a story that is half biographical (it's not about me and most of the events are made up, but my characters own traits that belong to real people I know.)
