I agree, word spreads too, so if one concert is bad a whole lot of people will know about it. Yeah, I also agree there is an acceptable amount of difference in sound, obviously the exact environment and equipment of the studio can't be replicated whilst on tour, and I realise that at times there will be improvisation and sometimes where there may have been a special effect on the album, they will lack one on stage and may add an extra note or two or go a pitch higher etc.
Bands that can't perform well live to tend to gain a lot of haters and a reputation of being fake, sometimes it's true, sometimes they just haven't perfected their live performance. But a reputation can be built for years and destroyed in a split second.
Thanks very much, I'm pretty sure it doesn't look as good in all browsers, i tried other browsers on my PC but they tend to mess up a bit. I made it in Safari, so It probably looks best using it (or mozilla - because I find them similar).
I liked the 2.0 forma better, but I joined the dark side and changed 'cause I got bored of it. Cool, I'll keep it subtle :D
I'm not sure how long it'll take though, sorry. I swear, whenever I have a free moment I'll look over codes and work until I'm happy with yours :)
I saw Metallica a few weeks ago and it was bloody brilliant, one of the best days of my life, no exaggerating needed. The effects were amazing, they had things that i never thought could be achieved in a live concert. The songs they had chosen all flowed together perfectly, they had a good selection, not just from one CD, ( they also happened to include the majority of my favorites). And James interacted well with the audience, little funny comments here and there in reaction to something a person shouted etc.
The only thing I would have said was for them to interact a little more with the crowd between songs, because Hettfield is a funny guy and it made it seem more personalized, more real. Others, of course, may disagree with me.
Yay for you :)
I use Safari, I haven't actually viewed my profile in firefox because I know the two are similar, but i viewed it in IE and Opera and I wasn't impressed. I only find it hard with mibba layouts to make each browser view the profile similarly.
Nothing to be jealous of here, honestly, I'm not too good at photoshop or dreamweaver yet, but I'm working on it. life would be easier if i had fireworks and illustrator though.
But the layout was just a bit of experimentation gone right.
Thanks, I will honestly try and get it done once i have free time, but keep reminding me, 'cause I forget things a lot. Don't be subtle or anything, just say 'remember my layout!!' or something along those lines :)
No problemo, It helps me practice :)
