It's no problem, really.
I just think people write a lot of crap and I'm not even talking about the internet alone. Naturally, I get a little excited when I read something different or even just well written- grammar-wise, expression-wise, character-wise, when a little bit of everything hits you. So I comment. haha
And your story was both different and well-written, so... in my book, it was well-deserved praise :]
