I know what you're saying. It's hard not to complain because it's human nature, but you feel guilty when you think of other people's circumstances and you know you're just a pansy who can't take a needle.
Maybe not helpful, but an English teacher of mine says writing and doodling about any thought that crosses your mind (even if it's how much you like the song playing or hate the weather outside) helps you bring out thoughts you were searching for.. eventually..
