Aww thats too bad :( I',m sure you'll break out of it soon! All you need is some inspiration! Try finding some new, epic music to listen to! That always helps me. Its also good to find music that suits your story, it helps get you thinking about it more and pumps out some more ideas.
Best of luck!!!
Hmm its hard to say, I suppose it depends on your ideas for a plot and the characters and what you want to have happen. It would work as either really. Having it as the beginning makes the reader feel as though they have come in on the middle of the story, landing into a seemingly "random" moment in their life with a lot of history, which is rather neat. You can always divulge more background information as you go along, but even though we don't have all those background facts enough information is given to help the reader fill in the blanks.
It was really well written. I hope I've helped some, it really could go either way, its up to you really. You could try writing it both ways and see how you feel about it.Maybe continue onwards but if you feel that you need to add something more onto the beginning you always can.
Hey, thanks for the journal comment :) I completely understand where you're coming from. Sometimes, because I don't eat in the mornings(even though I know I should), I become really light-headed and dizzy but I've never fainted. It doesn't do much for your self confidence when you're comparing yourself to friends. They probably feel envious of you too even if they don't say it.
You are very welcome :) I understand. If you don't get the amount of comments you desire I seriously suggest you write more and perhaps just keep it saved to your computer for your own enjoyment, perhaps even, if you feel strongly enough about it, attempt publishing.
Have a nice day :)
