I AGREE! I wonder if Jacob realizes how close he is to crossing it. To be fair, I did tell him this weekend that if his ego got any bigger, the guys were going to be able to float him above the van while they drove around. :P

That's a good way to look at it. I'm just going to miss all the little things. I feel like, once he's out with the bigger band, doing REAL tours, we won't message each other or anything. I'll only get to see him when he comes home and does his stints with Lynam. =/

That's nice to know. I'd hate to think of any of them as, like, a prick or thinking he's just TOO MUCH, ya know? I get self-confidence, I even get having a little arrogance if you know you're really really good at something, but...there's a line, no matter how good you are.

I gravitated to him immediately. And I would THINK that things would be better now that he's more comfortable, but I'm not sure that's true. I just feel like he's distancing himself because he thinks he's about to be out of here, out of Alabama, due to his work with Adler....and he thinks it will hurt less to sever ties now than to have to walk away from people he's still really close to.

More and more people have started portraying Shads as a teddy bear in their stories....and it seems like it might be true. Lol. Gotta admit, that would be horribly awkward, hearing someone else talk about how hot your significant other is nude, even if it is a famous rock star.

That's how I am with Jacob right now. He'll say something and I'm just thinking "Gah, I want to hit you!" HAHAHA! I agree. I thought he was sexy pretty much from the night we met. Back then, he was horribly awkward. He was really reserved and quiet. I always had to force him to talk. Now, though, he'll come up and say shit just to make me blush. Like, this past weekend, he walks up and asks if girls prefer dildos or vibrators. I just stared at him. Luckily there were two other people over there and they handled the answer. Jacob NEVER used to say stuff like that, off the stage. He was always arrogant ON stage...and I thought it was faked. Maybe it wasn't.

I used to think I would sell my soul to meet Avenged. Lol. I had a conversation, kind of, with Syn in 2009...and that was enough. BUT I still think it's really awesome that you got to meet them. I mean, I'd still LIKE to, I'm just not jealous when I hear others stories like I used to be. Maybe I've just matured.

Jacob's just getting a bit cocky cuz he's in a band with Steven Adler now and that's one of his idols. Plus, he hung out in the studio with John 5 (Manson/Rob Zombie) and Slash. I've always thought he was, ya know, hot stuff....and now, I guess he thinks so, too. Lol. I love that, though. "Master, not a god." :) I've challenged Jacob to learn a Syn solo. Any of them. We'll see what happens. But I also told him to learn the words to "Afterlife" and he said "Please. I don't even know the words to my own songs." Which is true.

That's cool. Who have you met? (And apparently, Jacob is the same way. He's met SO many people and never gets nervous. His most recent one was Black Veil Brides. When he messaged me about it, I was losing my mind, but I guess he was just like "Whatevs.")

It's so funny you said that, because I have a great example of that from this weekend. I've said for a while now that Jacob could probably play any of the solos Syn has ever done....that's that unerring loyalty we discussed. Lol. Anyway, Cody said that Lynam should learn "Afterlife" and I said that I had my doubts about them being able to handle it. Well, Cody thought that was understandable, but Jacob got kinda defensive and said "You think I can't play anything Brian has ever written?" Well, I mean, yeah, I might have said he can....but that doesn't mean that HE can say it.

I'm the same way. Or, well, it depends on who I'm talking to. For instance, when I talk to Jacob in person, I'm terribly awkward. But I can write him a NOVEL in Facebook messages. I think he likes the in-person conversations better; I'm less likely to chatter non-stop.

YAY! I love hearing that! Because I think they're great and I always want people to listen to them. :) Adler is really good, too, or I could be biased.....they have Jacob, i.e. they WIN. Haha!

It's funny that I can ramble while typing....because I have to think it out to type it. But I do have the tendency to OVER-explain things. Haha!

Most of the chapters are pretty short so far, because it's taken a while for my relationships with the band to develop. But yeah, you can check that out and see if you enjoy it. I will let you know in advance that the links to the pictures don't work....because I'm an idiot and forgot that I set all my photos on Facebook so that only my "friends" can see them. My bad. In fact, I should really go fix that. Oh. Sorry. Done rambling.

There's not much left to go on Bright Lights (unfortunately. I am going to miss this story so much) but I added three long chapters onto what was the end. Mostly because I didn't want to write a sequel yet couldn't bear not putting certain things in. So yeah. Four to go! :')
