Haha, nope. It was only in my interest that Jasper be the main male character because his history is so... captivating to me. The confederate soldier, then vampire soldier bits make him a very flawed person that I myself could easily love. Im actually trying hard to form him into a vampire in the story, because his strength and extra abilites are the only things that really make him different. I dont like the idea of "sparkling" either, but I dont want something as dramatic as burning, so Ive struggled lately to try to find something that would expose vampires to be seen in daylight, but wouldnt kill them. Maybe you have some ideas? *hint, hint*
