hiya :)

my little christian school is....closeknit for sure. and on the outside it looks nice. But me and my group of friends...We see the black holes in their facade. We ARE the bits that don't agree with the way dean runs things and we ARE the bits that are different and aren't the cut-and-dried perfect 4.0-athlete-musiclytalented-populars they all want us to be. We are a family, that's definte. If you've seen Cheaper by the dozen, me and my group of friends are Mark, the little red headed odd ball that no one really likes and everyone makes fun of. We don't fit their mold. And i've had 2 friends get kicked out this year because we don't follow deans perfect picture for recruitment and they did one little thing to make dean mad(one girl stole her own pair of jeans back from the person who stole them in the first place. and she got kicked out, not the stealer, but the one stole from in the first place). I'm just smart enough to stay out of deans radar. I still do stupid stuff, but I'm smart enough to not get caught. And we know that dean is hunting our group out. Because we're DIFFERENT. We sit in the su in a jumbled mess of classes and gender. MY school has SERIOUS clique issues. its seperated by class, and then by girl/boy in the class. MY group isn't. We have people from all classes and both genders from each class. It's unheard of for a senior guy to hang out with a freshman girl, and a junior girl hang out with a sophomore guy. It just doesn't happen because of how segregated the cliques are. Then there's my group. Everyone's welcome. And we band together because of similiar interests or whatever it may be, sense of humor, athletics(not that we play, but follow. Baseball/football), whatever it may be. We're the DIFFERENT ones. We're the gamers/loners/writers/thinkers(yes, thinkers is seperate. cuz some of us actually try to think things through before we do something or say something.)/crazies/idiots/whatever else. We just don't follow deans picture of the perfect campus. We aren't in NEAR as many pictures for recruitment and the yearbook. It just doesn't happen. Cuz dean doesn't want to admit that we are different. Whatever. I have serious issues with my school. Wonderful Fort is a poem about my school that I wrote a while back. It summarzes it pretty well I think...Kinda...
