Thank you! You really are too sweet.
One more chapter?! That's such a bittersweet feeling--one the one hand it'll be over, but it will be finished, a complete entity all on its own!

Oh, hell no. You wouldn't get a story deleted for that. Looking at modern published works might be a better example of what is proper. Using sentence fragments and run-on sentences for artistic merit is fine. It's when people do it to be lazy or because they don't know the rule that it becomes a problem.

If your story gets reported for sentence fragments, just reply and say 'I do this for artistic reasons''. A story editor will look at that, check, and remove the report.

Thank you! I'm so glad you like Faeling--I really, really, really appreciate it.
As for my comment on your story--I'm just being honest. I am completely in love with your writing style.

We don't remove stories unless they are not a story, plagiarized, or they have problems with the title. Your story will never be removed for a few simple errors or for liberties taken for artistic merit. All we ask is that you turn in a story the way you would turn in a report for school, with it proofread and correctly formatted. Certainly it's not too much to ask for people to run a spell check and use paragraphs?

That's very true. There's a difference between getting a story down and having it ready for print--and you don't need it to be ready for print.

Oh, man, repeating words too many times drives me crazy as well. Sometimes things can be rewritten an sound better, but often it's just you being a crazy author and nitpicking your own work :P
Punctuation is honestly up to the author--as long as it's easy to understand what you're saying. Everyone needs to understand the english language, but once you've got it--I say you should do what you like with it. And the fragments! They're perfect! They're amazing! It's so entirely human. I love the fragments.

Yikes, I don't know about that... Honestly, I hadn't touched my stories in years when I decided to come back a few months ago. I wrote one of the stories I'm currently working on four years ago before ditching it. I'm sure that if you go back over your old stuff, with a tweak here and there you'll see that your writing style isn't all that changed and most of it's still really good quality. (Either way, I totally dig it.)

I'm pretending I'm not excited. This is nonchalance. But really--thank you. I actually was just lurking your stories briefly and I can already tell that I'll be reading through the lot of it. It means a lot that someone who writes so well is interested!

Hi, just wanted to remind you that the deadline is tomorrow for my contest Self-Destruction Such a Pretty Little Thing. Don't panic though, you have a couple of days after the due date to turn in your entry, if you are still interested in the contest. :)

I could have very well looked over your entry if you turned one in already, you just have to remind me.

    Thanks for joining :)

Yeah, haha, the poem is rather long :p I had to read it in English class though, but it's actually really good! It's ballad, and I'm sort of a hopeless romantic, so, you know :p

Because you said all those nice things, and I like nice people! :D

Aha, ARE YOU MAKING THIS A COMPETITION!

Because I suck at those and you'll probably end up winning and I'll be a sore loser because I do not deal well with a hurt pride and dignity. It's true.

Thank ya! I want to start writing it soon :)

Aaah, well it's this poem about this chick. And it's based in the 1700-1800 I assume, and well she's all in love with The Highway Man, who is nameless. But a Highway Man is just a fancy name for a theif. Anyway, this guy is jealous because he loves her too, so he calls the kings men and turns in her lover/the thief so he runs away, then the kings men come and tie her up as hostage and tie a gun to her, so if she tries to escape she dies, and she wants to warn her guy that their waiting for him, so she ends up shooting herself in warning. And he hears the shoot and runs away, but doesn't know she's dead. Then he finds out the next day and goes back, but the King's men are there still and they shoot him too. Then, like 'as legend says' the ghosts of the girl and the Highway Man meet up every night.

    It's a tragic romance, basically :p

YOU, MY WONDERFUL KIND SIR, ARE WONDERFUL. MY FAVOURITE KIND OF WONDERFUL. I LOVE YOU. WITH THE PASSION OF A MILLION BURNING SUNS.
    SERIOUSLY.
Thanks so much, man. It really does mean a lot to me. And don't sweat it, weird people are my favourite. They are just so much more interesting!
    And don't die! D:
I don't know if I would be held legally responsible and I'm way too broke to get a decent lawyer!
