you quit cutting, or you'll end up in the hospital. i don't care if you're addicted or just depressed. if you're depressed, cry, scream into a pillow, etc. there's better things to do than die.

You need to tell your parents you are not feeling well, get yourself to a doctor and get a proper diagnosis for clinical depression. Don't self-diagnose. Get a doctor's opinion, maybe get on some anti-depressants, and get better soon.
Of course its all what you want to do. If you'd rather not, by all means, continue feeling low. I advise getting professional help. You don't even need to tell your parents. Tell a teacher you trust, a counselor, a principal, anyone. Get. Help.

Depression is a clinical state, and you shouldn't try to fight it off yourself. If you think you suffer from depression, you need to see a doctor and get help.

I'll tell you one thing though. Cutting is not normal. Cutting is not a symptom of depression. Cutting yourself is what kids do for attention, and its a hint at utter insanity. Depression is natural, you would get depressed whether or not you had pop culture influences or not, but cutting is not a natural human idea.
If you're actually sticking up for self-mutilation, then you seriously need help and I advise you look for some. Let me know how it goes.
