I've a friend, grand person, really he is, and an even better written. I've only ever been allowed to read one work, he's very particular about who is graced with the beauty of his words. I asked him once why he's not allowed more to read them, and his reply is something I'll never forget. I think it'll really help you.
He said to me, [i]"What does it matter if others enjoy the words written on the page as long as the author himself can smile proud while reading them?"[/i] He is right, you need to be proud of your words and not allow lack of readers to bother you. Especially not on a site loaded with fanfiction. For some retched reason, people seem to prefer that. Though, you must also remember, [i]"A man who writes only for praise shall never be satisfied."[/i]
