Hey, thanks for the con. crit on my story, if it's not too much to ask, how would you go about improving the dialogue? I wanted to keep a kind of disconnected, tense feel (as if the two characters are fighting), but I also want it to flow. Hey, I´m in the This Means War contest and I want to know what happened with it. The deadline was Jan 1st and you said you´d be judging the 2nd and 3rd, surely you must have the results by now if there weren´t that many entries. If not then you must at least let us know when the results will be up. Well in that first dialogue part;
" “You left me.”
“What are you doing?”
“Well, I don’t quite know yet. I give up most of all.” "
I think maybe you should have put
"What are you doing?" he repeated
And then for the second line, the part that really confused me was the 'I give up most of all'. Because that didn't apply to the question. Maybe just "I give up." or "I'm giving up."
That was about it.
