I assume you're referring to the Art Institute of Vancouver and the Vancouver Film School that I've listed contact information for below.
The best thing for YOU to do is to research both schools thoroughly. Read through their websites with an eye out for the type of education YOU are looking for.
To do that adequately means that you first should sit down and think about what it is you truly want to do with your life. Don't just think about the job you want to have, but also think about what it realistically take to get that job and build a viable career from it. Think about what kind of LIFE you want to live and if having that career will provide it, both during your success and BEFORE, while you're still working towards your goal.:P
Vancouver island university is not a good university for MBA... Most Canadian's have never heard of that place...
To find the best university that suits you, I suggest you borrow an issue of Macleans for the November issue, where they have the MBA university rankings in Canada.
Well There in New York: Cornell, Columbia, NYU. There is also Syracuse, SUNY (State University of New York...particularly University at Buffalo, SUNY Purchase, Binghampton, Stony Brook) schools, Fordham, CUNY (city university of new york) schools, and a bunch of liberal art colleges :P
:]
California: Stanford, Caltech, UC Berkeley, University of Southern California UCLA, UCSD. There is also other UCs (Davis, Irvine, Santa Cruz, Merced, Riverside) California State Universities (CSUs) Pepperdine, University of San Francisco, University of San Diego, and a bunch of liberal art colleges.
The first ones that i have listed are considered to be the best. Anything after there is also ..... is very good to okay in that order. All should have housing options available. Since you are looking into colleges, i would strongly suggest applying to all of them because that is how you can have more options to choose from later on. If you limit yourself now, then you limit your chances and options later. :P
