i think songlyrics make more sense, like, theyre more meaningful, maybe, i think peoms arnt as...gripping, they dont suck you in and consume you, songs have goods and bads, finding rhythms and melodies can either make the words flow and spread, but if yew cant find one, yewre shot

and most of the "poems" on my page arr songs, exept like, three, if it sounds like a song, it prolly is, and theyre in the same rough format

i think that was a quick one...not my quickest, that would be "the king's last words" which i wrote in like half an hour, then i switched out the chorus cuz it was "you had me at goodbye" at the time and then it took me like ten minuets to write the chorus, that song prolly has some of my favorite phrasings

it took roughly a week, an hour or two

yeah, i was thinking themes and i stumbled opon black and white, so i turned to that, then i added the screaming part that just bursts out in the colors

"it's black like your heart, and white like the snow" which is confusing cuz in the song it also says "your hair is gold" which, technically, for someone who knows me good nuff will find out that's the true color of my ex's hair, although it's not generalized twords her...a different one is...just not this one...

it's cliche but it makes the point so i have to keep it

thanks for the comment, it is a song though, one of my favorites, and it's a great example that writing is easyer when you have a solid theme to base it opon

just things you want to remind yourself of, like what happened

or...for practice, write a journal for a week! just write down things that you would use to tell yourself about what happened each day

you would have to explain everything, it might become confusing, yew need to know how to write in the format, other than that, you should be good

yeah, it was kinda ruined cuz i just read a story involving the same thing, guy dies, she is pregnent, look on the stories comments and it will show you my idea

i quickly read it, sad:( and the babie was almost cliche, but still good story telling...that would be amazing if it went throughout their lives

Yeah i get that. Coz most of the time I just want to delete that chapter and make it happy. And your welcome :D

Jeez that would suck for your story to be thrown into a fire :L. Yeah, knowing that your story has touched people IS the best feeling in the world. In most of the stories I've written, theirs sad endings :L i don't know why, but I just don't always believe in happy endings ya know?

Yeah, I was planning that one of them would go. But that was before I had actually wrote it. Then I got attached. I was absolutely DREADING putting up that chapter. Because, he was still alive until I posted it. Oh and thank you for reading and everything. Now I know why people love writing. :P
