Actually, yeah, there've been more trades than on Trade Deadline and a lot of these signings are shocking/pissing me off. Richards going to NYR was a big shocker! I was thinking he was gonna come up to Canada, but I guess not. Hey, Lombardi is a bit of a looker... ish. All of us female fans need some eye-candy from these teams.
I KNOW! That deal Buffalo made, I was just stunned. Was that what Ehrhoff wanted? I'm glad he's gone if that was what he was looking for! But I'm still a little in the dumps about it. We could've afforded it, but some people found better offers elsewhere or were just a bit too greedy for Gillis's liking.
I was thinking that too! So many were going to Florida on the first day and I was just like, "Wow. Dale Tallon must be one hell of a GM to persuade some of those guys."

I got my middle sister to help me look for jobs. She's pretty good with finding jobs so I'm trusting her (a bit). It's harder with sports because all sports go on an off-season and everything just dies. Summer escapdes should keep you occupied till the start of the season at least. I love procrastinating. It's the best.

Honestly, I'd go fishing over Pride Parade any day. I love to fish. Save for the fact that I can't swim so if anyone comes close to tipping the boat over, I freak.

MY EXACT THOUGHTS WHEN IT CAME TO HAMILTON!! When his name was called, I immediately started to Dougie. I think everyone feels bad for the players save for when they come to their team. They did feel betrayed. I would definitely be unless it was discussed with the GM and me before it happened. Like Ehrhoff (grr...). I want an epic hit from one of the Schenn's, like the one between Staal's. Yeah! Bieksa was resigned! Took the less money and heart than more money and no heart. Hoffer though, didn't want that contract so he was gone. Apparently he's close to becoming a Sabre now, though. There was a pic of Stamkos happening to be signed with the Leafs. It gave me a good laugh.

I did the normal in all my subjects. B's and A's and that C in AP Psych (I really did not like how it was taught). But my French and English aren't finalised yet because the provincial exam marks are usually posted and marked near the end of July/beginning of August.

I MISSED THE AWARDS!! I can't remember why I missed them, but I was soo sad after! But, what was up with all the Hollywood stars doing stuff? The housewives from Beverly Hills? Really? Well, it was only official today that the Thrashers were sold to Winnipeg and will be going to the Peg. Yea... never will wanna live in a Canadian town ever. I spent a summer in Jonquière (a suburb of Chicoutimi) - NEVER AM I GONNA LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN! Like, I don't mind spending a summer or whatever, but to live there - NO!
Take the BC interior, better climate and you have mountains and more! Alberta is just flat, hot, and dry. Mostly dry.

Hey, the reffing was a LOT better than the Sharks series. That was bad reffing. At least this time it's a notch better. Burrows still my hubby no matter what he does. Bettman is all like the Winnipeg NHL team isn't a done deal and there hasn't been any official announcement. Whatever. We have all of off-season to wait for an announcement and for them to iron out the wrinkles. The team will go to Winnipeg in the end, fer sures. Yea... Thrusters would be good, but the Jets is classic! WHAT DA HEEL! He's from freakin' Russia! It's colder there! And the Peg has stuff to do. Maybe not a lot of stuff, but it's good! The only problem with the Peg is one end of town that's really ghetto. Freakin' chicken shit he is. HAhaha! You could be our accomplice. We could make a new trio, but I get Toews in the end.

I HATE THE REFS IN OUR SERIES! They weren't horrible at first, but now they're just so biased! GRRR!! I love it when refs get in on the play and get pinned against the boards from a hit. Still don't like the Bruins, but that's just me and my biased ways. But I'd rather they move on than Tampa. That's enough blind hope, Cinderella. I'm fine with that deal. Seguin is quite easy on the eyes. Burke could be kicking himself for a lot of things that he could've not done. Guy Boucher was crazy in Game 4! Love it! Hey, is it just me, or does Boucher look a bit like Keanu Reeves? Eh, eh? Kesler has died down a bit. At first it was like where's Kesler in Round 1. Then in Round 2 it was where's the Sedin's. Now it's where's the powerplays and Kesler! Eager - I won't talk about him. I just hate his guts since the first Chicago series. Yea, but even then, Lappy got more points on the board than Eager.

That's pretty true. I know some who are penny pinchers, but when it comes to throwing parties or food, they go all out. Or video games. But then I sympathise with them on that and the food. I always make a profit from whatever parties I plan/throw. I don't get into consumerism just because I hate falling into the trends, but food is just - I will splurge when it comes to grocery shopping. 'Tis why I am not allowed to go grocery shopping by myself.

The playoffs have gotten everyone in a warp. A bunch of us were freaking out because no one got any internet or phone reception and one of our teachers ended up jacking the internet from one of the residents that got their internet from the States.
Straight up, this year's reffing SUCKS! Especially in the Vancouver series (or at least, that's what I've noticed). They either call EVERYTHING or call NOTHING! It's stupid. But LOL at your political joke! It just sucks that these at least half-decent teams don't get the recognition they deserve. Phoenix especially. It was a good game for the first and last 20 minutes. The middle period - I dunno what happened. This game was a lot better entertainment wise. The Blackhawks actually brought their game and gave us a challenge. Thank you! I know! All those shutouts shocked me! I wasn't expecting this many! I just watched Hunchback of Notre Dame today! Bunch of my friends came over (we had no school today) and watched it. Felt good. YO! My Lion King and my Mulan went missing! I dunno what the fuck happened to them! It's like, all of my vids are about 18 years old and them going missing is BULLSHIT! Someone is seriously gonna get hurt in this house.

They cheer U-S-A during the season? I don't think I've ever heard it (or at least it was never clear enough for me to know it was U-S-A). The only times I've heard it was during the international games, but then it's appropriate. It's soooo stupid! Phoenix is probably one of the best plaing teams in the West, but they don't get the attention they deserve. They're majorly underrated. It would suck that if they get relocated they start to suck. That would be really sucky. I thought Quebec wasn't getting a new arena. They didn't get federal funding; are they going through with it anyways? Yeah... I'm too big of a Habs fan to care. Let the rivalry ensue! I got into a verbal scrap with a guy that was a Nordiques fan while I was in Quebec. Those fans are for forever.

I was rooting for them big time! Especially when Kovalchuk left. Just to spite him. I know I shouldn't and can't blame them for not getting into the game, but it's one of the best sports out there!! I almost got my non-hockey friend into it. Yeah, but back then came with all this shit (like war, depressions, worldwide poverty, higher crime, crappier wages, inflation, etc). But I totally agree. I love everything brilliant from back in the day. Even the 90's; I remember them well. I like being in our time and being in love with the old. Shush! I like to say this game is still pure albeit how fucked up it is now thanks to Bettman. As long as Canada is keeping the NHL afloat, it is still pure. Until then, we know what has happened to hockey. Hey, although the Peg may not have an NHL team no more, they have the Manitoba Moose who have been doing great for the past so many seasons. But both cities could use an NHL team. Quebec still has that rivalry intact and Winnipeg is more than welcoming for another team.
I'm actually disappointed in Atlanta. Their team was doing really well for a bit but still no fans came. Same goes for Phoenix (which is ACTUALLY doing well). Bettman needs to realise relocation is THE ONLY OPTION LEFT!
I think many don't get prosecuted because the crimes are small and they usually put in a plea bargain. So the charges are usually lowered or dropped. OMG! Me too, but he's nothing compared to The Rocket who I love to death! I watched the movie, have a book, and watched so many clips on that guy. He's like my fantasy hero! Screw the system! That team would've been great because players just wanted to play in the electric city of Montreal (plus they seemed to win everything no matter what).
I loved Burrs during his 4th-line, chirper, agitator days. Now he's a goal-scoring, top-line, agitator. Burke ain't so smart, eh? The only thing I like that he did was some of Anaheim moves (but that only lasted a year and then flop) and the Sedin-twin trade to get both draft picks.

Okay, those grammar mistakes shouldn't be mistakes after about grade 10. And if they are, those people should practice (no offence). I dunno. I think it's because I never really typed in "txt tlk" unless I end up over the 140-character Twitter count. And my sister always corrected my grammar for me growing up (she's 16 years older, she's been doing that for a long while). "I has English"? Really?

That's smart but also sorta depressing. My prayers are sent all over the world at the moment. First it was Hurricane Katrina, then Haiti, and now Japan. Don't we forget about the worldwide poverty and the Middle East. What's a tad more depressing though is that Canada has pushed aside a lot of these issues for the federal election coming up. Every so many hours there's at least a 20-minute cover on the elections.

I would like to keep our fans that way. Keep the integrity of the game intact. And with out little legal issues, they're always so low-key because it's the most underrated sport in the major sport leagues! Like, ESPN barely covers it, and it's a ugly cover. I feel like I should work for them just to get some people's attention on the sport over there. And cover it well (at least better than some of their "experts"). I have no clue about his legal problem. I don't keep track other than the stuff that pops up on TSN and is mocked by Jay and Dan. I would love to meet Jean Beliveau. Other than a couple of divorces and legal issues, no NHL has any real scandals. And our legal issues have everything to do with DUI or drinking. Them players like them beer. There's pretty much nothing to do with domestic violence or anything else. (I may be wrong on that though.) Hahah! Yeah. You should just come over here when he is. Canada is awesome like that, being the world in this country of ours. We pretty much are if you think about it. I've been to Quebec City and a small town in Quebec. Never in Ontario though except for the aeroport. I want to go to the Maritimes though. I seriously wanna go on a road-trip across Canada though. That'd be epic. And if you do come here, you have a free tourguide right here and defintely a free place to eat if you feel like it. My family loves to feed my friends. I have a respect for every team except Boston, Chicago, Anaheim, and Toronto (no offence). I don't like any other team, really, but there's respect for them fer sures. HABS! Cheer for the Habs! Forget Philly! Hey, that big win over the Canes gotta give ya some hope! That's a big plus in the playoff race. I hate how Bettman is trying to increase the audience in America.
