We got approved!!! Got the phone call this morning. Started my day off really good. Just gotta put the deposit down at the end of the week and it's ours!! I wish we could move in now, but we have to wait about 2 and a half months, haha. I'm so excited.

And that sounds really cool! But snow!? In July!? That's crazy!!! I can't imagine snow in July...

So what are you going to school for? When I eventually get around to it, I'll be going for teaching.

Oh, I'm jealous!! I got lucky and actually had some family drive through town and they stopped in to go out to dinner. Most people would be like "So? They drove through town.. big deal." But you know... when they're from Michigan and I live in Florida, it's a very big deal, haha. It was cool.

And I got to watch the fireworks on the fourth on the beach!!! I was like a little kid, it was so exciting. I've never done something like that before. I already can't wait for next year. :)

Oh yes, I hate apartment hunting. We went to nearly half the complexes in our area at least, and let me tell you... there's a lot of apartment complexes around here. I don't doubt we'll be accepted, but if for whatever reason we aren't, there's still a few other complexes that we liked.

And I wish I had school starting next month. With everything going on, I still have yet to situate everything so that I can even start the enrollment process. I feel like it's never going to happen at this point.

Heyyy, I know I suck and haven't been around. Things have been soooo crazy. My boo's schedule got all weird at work and we did a whole mess of apartment hunting, but we finally found the one!!! Turned in our application today, so fingers crossed that we'll be accepted and the apartment we want is available!! :)

I've only gotten a couple paragraphs written, but I think I may get more done tomorrow.

hmm, well, first of all, if it were my story, id give up on writing it the way youre writing it right now. I would make it the present- since you're writing it as a past, it seems kind of filler and idk, less interesting, since we kind of know what's going to happen. make it present with flashbacks-lots of them. or you could make it in a future tense- the two girls
going up to college and living their lives.
make it new-- fresh! not the repetitive you've got going on, hope I'm helping! \m/ xxo

Hmm . . . I'd have to say where Trever took her to the party and she flipped out. I liked it because the experience forced her open and made her feel. Plus trevors moms reaction was hilarious:)

Thank you so much. That comment made me unbelievably happy, you truly have no idea. I was grinning from ear-to-ear as I read it. I'm glad you notice the subtleties in my writing that I feel probably get overlooked by some people. And the last part made my day. Thank you so much for that. I was feeling a bit down on myself and on these last two chapters. I kind of thought maybe I lost my touch with the whole not writing for so long thing. But out of all my readers, your opinion kind of means the most to me. So if you say it's good, I'm sold. :)

Haha, I don’t actually know when it’ll happen, since we can’t just yet. But I’ll bet you before the year is up I’ll be pregnant. He’s bound and determined to have little ones running about.

And the insomnia is actually getting worse. It used to be that it was every once in a while that I couldn’t sleep, but it’s hitting me much harder now. I can’t seem to fall asleep before 3 in the morning at the soonest, and last week I was up for a good 36 hours straight. I can’t seem to shake it. I’m tempted to see a doctor about a sleeping pill, but my body builds immunities to medication like crazy and before I know it I’d need a horse tranquilizer to knock me out.

And as for the rough months… it was mostly just a bout of depression that hit at one of the most hectic times ever, coupled with a whole bunch of insecurities. I felt neglected, alone, and homesick beyond belief. And every time I’m depressed like that I lose all will to write, which led to my long absence. The second my boo realized just how bad it was getting we had a long, super emotional talk and he fixed me, haha. But thank you so much for your concern. It really put a big ol’ smile on my face.

PS. Since I last commented I got that second chapter posted just a moment ago, actually. :)

You should have said something girl!!! I needed some motivation and a bunch of angry readers swarming me with torches and pitchforks would have certainly lit a fire under my butt (pun completely intended) to get me back working on it. I'm already working on the next chapter right now and I'm 675 words in and a typical chapter for me is roughly 1500 words long, so I'm probably going to be posting again tonight. :)

I've been good though. Things were a bit rough a few months ago, but I got to visit home a month ago, which was wonderful. Things have just been really good for my husband and I and I think he's about to say we have to start trying for a baby soon. Haha.
