My hand is still ridiculously painful and awkward...but luckily I can type without too much pain finally, and I can just about paint (in short bouts, but that'll do me) which is an absolute relief. I think I was genuinely losing my mind without it :/ Now...to reply to all your commenty-goodness to me :]

Volunteering at a music festival?!!! DUDE THAT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! It's an experience you can put down on your CV and stuff later in life - but more importantly it's freakin' cool as Hell!! Double Bass players...mmm ^_^ Tell me more about what you had to do!

The original family crudiness was sorted with a good outcome...unfortunately then a lot of bad/rubbishy crap started happening - but hey, for every bad thing it just means something good is coming. * Optimism at it's best*

You don't need to be worried though thank you for caring :] I kinda was down-in-the-dumps...but that's 'cause I had no release with painting or art; now I have that back my mood is like a billion times better :] I'm currently painting up a killjoy gun and mask for my friend's birthday next week. I'm off to Glasgow for the weekend next weekend to see her and celebrate, and she has NO idea about the raygun :D It's seriously so cool - I'll show you a photo when it's done :D

I'm very thankful for your friendship...and thank you for the wishes and hugs and cookies. The cookies in particular were nommy-licious :P

Logn story to tell but I'm only just getting back online now and just popping by to say that I'll get back to you when I can.

Near-broke my hand and can't type too well so I'm getting my little [I'm clearly the best out of me and Lyzsi - Kathryn] sister to write this for me. Family shit/passing out shit/arguement shit/computer shit/not being able to paint shit/punching things shit - I'm on the verge of a breakdown.

I've gotta come offline now, but I'll treply tomorow to everything. OI miss you!!

haha thank you for the comment on Guardian demon! lol I really hope that i do good on the sequel. I figure I'll let you in on a little bit of the story, just cause you actualy comment -_- Umm lets see Abby will remain mute just about all of the story. She will get out of the asylum, I thought I put that in the first chapter might not have, lol oops. Hmmm I will be introducing up to three new mainish characters....and the title comes into play =)

I won't be on the computer much at all the next couple of days...various family shizzles, long-story cruddiness, gallery mapping and finishing the big piece - but I am still working on my chapter, and have re-written it a bit. Whenever I get on the comp I'll keep working on it - and I'll send it when it's done.

..I probably won't be back much/at all until like Thursday :/ But I'll still kinda be around...

Chav is the general term - made popular by tv etc...but each part of the country has it's own word for them. We used to call them 'Kevs' around where I live...up in Leeds they're called Scally's...other places just call them Scum. All work appropriately :]

The director's cut of DotD is the one I own on DVD. I don't find it too gory...but then again I've seen WAY worse. It always helps to watch the behind-the-scenes stuff if you can find it on youtube or whatever...then the gore becomes the fantasy it is rather than the reality it's trying to be. Zombie's are indeed incredible - next on the list for you, old skool British Hammer Horror from the 50's-70's. I am in love with films in that category ^_^

I bought a huge canvas today. It's almost as big as me...and was fun to get home on the bus :P I'm using a picture of me and my ex as a reference for it, so it'll either be fun and a great piece of art - or at the very least a good way to wash anything residual-feeling-wise away and out of my system for good.

...also, there'll be guns on the picture. Yup - no subtext there(!)

You hit the nail on the head...if their lives are scattered, then the journal should be too so it all fits. You shouldn't doubt what you're doing with AWSS, because every decision you've made so far is spot on. Seriously, you should be incredibly proud of that story.

URGH! Evanescence came here last year, but the tickets sold out before I got paid (and the same day they went on sale). It sucked because The Pretty Reckless were their support and I ADORE them too - but then again, it was small venues compared to the arenas they played in '03. I guess I'm just grateful I've seen them/met them and hope that you can too someday. 80% chance of not going still means there's 20% in your favour - you never know your luck ^_^
