Same for me after summer vacation. So do you go to school all year round?February 27th, 2011 at 03:46am

I think I win. I got up at quarter to noon. That's what I get for going to sleep at three in the morning. :) And yay for updates indeed!
And I love relaxed days. :) So wait...if it's summer there, are you still going to school? That just occurred to me.February 27th, 2011 at 03:38am -
Hahahaha. That stinks. :p
And I am currently up to waking up a little...I slept so late, but I guess that's what I get for staying up late. Whatever. Ha-ha. And then I'm going to start working on updating. How about you?February 26th, 2011 at 06:00pm -

...How do they even pass that off as wearing a uniform...? Hahaha. Kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
And exactly! It's perfect. :)
Hahahaha. That stinks. Well, now you have someone who can keep up with all the talking. YAY! :DFebruary 26th, 2011 at 08:15am -
Hahaha. That's quite alright. I was kind of brought up to dislike English people, being Irish (ongoing feud, English people taking over Ireland and all that; I should probably add that I'm first generation American in my family), but since I grew up in America and around people who were English who were nice, plus people who were both English and Irish, I just got over it. But it's not the same for you because you actually grew up in New Zealand. Ha-ha.
And nope. Some schools have uniforms, private schools, and some of them are also religious, but public schools don't require uniforms. It's pretty cool, but it can also be an excuse for some girls to wear entirely inappropriate attire. It doesn't help that we have absolutely zero dress code on top of that. It's basically anything goes...as long as a student is wearing more than just underwear.
I'm lucky because I'm only fifteen and don't need to pay taxes yet. But I'm sure, once I do, I shall be ranting about them, too. I have a tendency to talk too much, though I'm sure you've already gathered that. Look at me ramble like an old person. Good lord. Hahaha.February 26th, 2011 at 07:58am -
Hmm...interesting. Ha-ha.
Ah, the good ol' USA. Ha-ha. Um...it's cold. And it's been super snowy this winter. Even places in the south where it doesn't usually drop below sixty degrees got snow. Kind of ridiculous. Thankfully, it rained really hard today. I just love the rain, especially when it's pouring rain. :)
The economy's not very good...and education isn't getting the funding it needs. But that's kind of boring. Ha-ha. And we don't really have an overall culture or anything, since we're just a melting pot of all different races and religions and all that. :) And we don't fight with anyone, really...everyone fights with us. Because we're American.
I sound so awful, don't I? I don't mean to be. I do love where I live and I have a very nice life, but I can't help but pick on Americans sometimes. It's always in pretty good humor, considering I am one. :) Ha-ha.February 26th, 2011 at 07:47am -
Ha-ha. I mean, it's in the back of your head, but then you actually hear about someone going to the beach when we just narrowly avoided a huge snowstorm, and it's like...whoa.
Ha-ha. That's pretty cool. Now, are the cultures of Australia and New Zealand pretty different, or are they similar, being so close together?
Sorry if I sound touristy...I'm just curious. Ha-ha.February 26th, 2011 at 07:32am -
Ha-ha. Woo hoo! Gosh, that's so trippy to think about...
And that's so cool. :) I want to visit Australia someday. There's an Australian teacher at my school...he's kind of amazing. Even though I've never met him. Ha-ha.February 26th, 2011 at 07:21am -

Go to the beach?! Ha-ha. Oh, lord, I can't imagine going to the beach. Is it not cold? And I'm just writing and listening to music. :)February 26th, 2011 at 01:34am

Thank you very much for your comment. :) I agree that it was good that Selena said something instead of leading him on, but I feel badly for making her break Bailey's heart. :'( I love Bailey. Ha-ha.February 25th, 2011 at 10:49pm

Well, we start school in late August, when it's nearing the end of summer, and then have a vacation over Christmas that can last anywhere from just a week to almost two, depending on where Christmas and New Years' land. And then we have a week vacation in February, which is ending for me the day after tomorrow (ugh), and then we have another vacation in April, which lasts a week. Then, at the end of June, we get around a week off, plus July and most of August, then the whole thing starts again.
