Hey,I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply to the comment you left on Wildwood, I've been a little bit terrified of Mibba ever since the format change. Everything is different and scary, but I'm getting the hang of it.
Anywhos, in the beginning, a few people commented that Wildwood reminded them of Stardust. Is that the book you were thinking of?
Let me see if I can remember how I got the idea for it... It had something to do with feral children. I can't remember if maybe I was reading an article about feral children, or maybe I had watched Peter Pan or something. Either way, I had an idea for a story about a girl who lives in a secluded place, hears wolves, runs away, and finds out that the wolves are a band of thieves, led by a cocky, young, Peter Pan-ish sort of boy. It was only a vague idea I never thought I would actually get around to writing, until my good friend, PACE_girl, and I decided to give writing a joint story another go after our first one ("I Just Summoned the End of the World") fell through. I pulled Wildwood out of the archives, and we gave it a shot. It's ended up being a success, despite the fact that we are both the slowest writers on the entire planet.
The story I thought you the idea from was the forest of hands and teeth. I really love your story. I dont like the new format that much either. :)
