I haven't read/heard many people talk about music in such a way for a very long time. I honestly think that we're in a Dark Age (I'll get to that later in this comment). I'm relieved to know that you're working for whatever dream you have. That you haven't given up.

You're really dedicated. Augh, I remember those percussion harnesses. My old band friends would always moan about how painful they were, and I don't blame them. Sometimes, they would have marks left (which I would purposely poke at just to hurt them xD). Is marching season over?

To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my favorite novels! I didn't like it much when I was younger, but now that I'm older, I understand it better...which means I'm probably jaded and cynical to the core. I hope that your English teacher puts more into the literature than mine :/ Our class barely skimmed the surface, so I had to go onto SparkNotes and ask my seniors about the text often. It really is too good of a book to not dig into.

I remember our poetry unit too.
Man, everyone bitched and moaned about it, but I liked it :]

You should absolutely read Star Wars. I'm not sure if you're a sci-fi fan, but Lucas has a great style that you can learn from, since I strive to write like him in a sense. Plus, it's just a great book you can't put down (:

Nothing much happening on this end to be honest. I just finished an abstract painting for school. I'm not into abstract and contemporary a lot, but I did a piece for Alice In Wonderland, so it was all good :D

I should get back to reading Poe. I didn't finish reading all of his works >.< I'll do it after I finish the last Star Wars novel xD
