Ooh, that's cool!
In my School, we're expected to join 3 clubs but no one does. We only do in year 7 because everyone bribes us to go to their clubs by giving us sweets. There isn't really much to offer for year 12's though. I go to GAPS and I'm on the Maths and Debating Team and I also run an ICT Club to help teach some younger kids, but that's about it...
Trust me, I know what you mean. I definitely agree with you because I get so sick of not being able to talk to people about politics. It can get quite depressing when I see how stupid people are. I'm not saying that I'm clever or anything, but at least I try to expand my knowledge of society and where I live.

Yeah, I concur. I don't think it was just about the art, but he really just wanted someone to blame. He was always a violent kid and actually was a bit of an idiot (he failed every school subject except PE), but he did have certain qualities that helped him to succeed. I'm not saying that they were good or anything, but he did know how to manipulate people well.
We can't live in an utopia, because even that would be messed up. No one can agree on what is actually right and good, so that would fail pretty quickly...

Well Politics is only a subject option in some Schools and only in Sixth Form, so a lot of people don't bother with it or even watch the News. It's insane that people are that stupid really!
Wow, that's good for your School then. It's a shame that a lot of people here don't care but they don't feel like they need to. In my School, I'm in the Government and Politics Society (GAPS) and we only have about 20 members. Anyone in the Sixth Form can join GAPS and the Sixth Form consists of 360 girls!

Yeah, I remember reading about that. Hitler blamed the Jews because he wanted a Jew to promote his work in their gallery and they refused because they thought it wasn't good enough. They always are used as scapegoats and it's tragic really.
Yeah, we can wish but I don't think it'll ever happen. D: As times go on, more problems exist as people drift further apart and there are more disputes about everything and anything. People fight about land, technology, morals and beliefs, cultures et cetera. People just want a reason to argue and that's awful.

Meh, she was an idiot. I was surprised, but I found out that she didn't know about Gordon Brown or ANYTHING political. She just spends all of her time texting and painting her nails.

I know what you mean. It can never happen, since some people are naturally evil, which is strange when you think that they all started off as innocent babies. The world and the environment we live in corrupts people. For example, Hitler was greatly influenced by 'War Fever' when he was in hospital after the First World War and also heavily based his beliefs on the fact that the whole of Germany and Austria blamed others for losing the War (and they mainly blamed the Jews since they were everywhere and didn't really have a specific home, since only a small proportion of Jews lived in Israel). Everyone blamed the Jews and he took that idea and ran with it. He made people blame the Jews and made mothers indoctrinate their children to follow him. It's sick, but just shows how society can affect people. D:

The thing is, most people over here don't pay much attention to foreign politics, let alone national politics... It's quite tragic really.

I know. I just don't understand how things like that happen. In many years time, aliens will come and be shocked at how appalling our world is.

Life confuses me so much. I really don't see how so much bad can happen, especially since a lot of it is due to humans. How can we all be as messed up as we are to cause things like the Holocaust and other murders?!

I swear, some people just don't keep up with news. Yesterday someone asked me about Haiti. She didn't know about it until the day before last!

*sigh* Yeah, it really is sad. I'm glad that he touched my heart, but he shouldn't have gone yet. He had so much more to give and I'm sad that he couldn't.

Jimmy will always be in my heart. I just wish that I could have known such an amazing person personally, but either way, he made such an impact on my life. I wish he didn't have to leave, but I guess it was his time. I'm just glad that he was able to share his talent with the world before he went.
