Hey, thnx for the poem comment. I'd love to help, since i love to do so. First, I always like to write a bout how i'm feeling, whether its love, passion, or just simple pain. Then, go into description, like 'The long-lasting love of .......' for example. Try not to go into DEEP description, for you may lose reader intereset. Just sayin. If you read some of my other poems, you may find some luck, hopefully. If you need anything, just ask.

Sure, I'll take a look. As for advice I don't know if I can give you any - every writer should have their own unique writing style. (:

Hey thanx a million for the comment on my poem L.O.V.E and trust me I'm not that good, I'm mediocre at best lol I just get lucky sometimes by writing stuff down when I get really inspired, and sure I'd love to read your work and comment. You know, when I was 14, I had just started writing and didnt have a clue what I was doing for the most part but my teacher saw something in my book and convinced me to carry on and now I've got 2 poems published, one of em in a national anthology. What I'm trying to tell you with my half-hearted story is that life is a surprising turn of events and if you love writing, never quit because it might turn out that even if you didnt think your work was any good, someone else will :)

Take a piece of paper, write down you thoughts and look at them. If it doesn't seem right then cross it out and change it. Usually the messier the paper is the better the work. That's just for me though...I dunno if it'll work for you. :)
Also, don't hold your feelings back. No matter what the feeling is put it into your work. What you write doesn't have to have a meaning to someone else. Only to you. Don't appease another, focus on yourself.

The last part of what you said could go in a poem! It was inspiring.

Thank you for the comments. What I do when I write poetry, is listen to music. Every poem I write, it's inspired by what I listen to. Take the energy from what makes you write, and put it in the poem. Write whatever comes to your mind. Never throw away "useless" work. It could be a masterpiece.

Thanks for the advice divaboy. I usually put myself in other people's shoes because I'm not 100% comfortable with expressing my life as a whole.
