Zinaida wasn't actually around enough to see what Yekaterina was doing, and when she was present Yekaterina acted differently, so of course Zinaida would never suspect anything. As for Dmitri and Aerys, they probably would benefit from a day together, just the two of them, but I can't promise that such a thing will happen any time soon.

lol just kiddin' I had to have her get excited when she saw Parker since he's in a lot of trouble at home right now, so him going to see her was a big deal.
and yes, at this point I'm almost certain there will be a sequel although i'm not sure about Rayna and Parker being a couple. ;)

To answer your question: In my personal experience, when I'm really close to someone on a mental and emotional level, I can read things in their eyes. Usually it's not as articulate as this thing between Aerys and Dmitri, but fairly well on. For example, I could tell from the way my last boyfriend looked at me that he loved me, even though he only said it once. So that's more or less what I was going for.

There are a few short conversations about the Charleston family in the beginning that happen between Sam and Alexzander, but you're right, not many. I write everything in my notebook during class and then type it up later..usually it's all the same but this one scene in the notebook I have has a long conversation about Samantha while I had decided to exclude it from the actual story..so I got confused. But like I said, there is still a few mentions of the family.

I promise everything about Giacomo will become clear in time. For now, I'm enjoying all of the confusion people seem to be having about him. Give things time. It'll be worth it, I swear.

Tina is a total hypocrite, I kinda hate her and I'm the person who made her up. :/ hahaha. but on the plus side; I absolutely adore Ricky, he's always been one of my favorites, so I'm glad you like him too. And I was thinking about having Parker stand up for himself more, but I picture him as more of a momma's boy in my head, and I feel like he always wants to please her.. so I thought if I would've had him speak his mind it would've just caused too many problems.. And the next chapter will probably answer all of your questions about Kassi and Ray's relationship as well as what Rayna thinks about what Parker said. (:

Oh my gosh so detailed! The whole thing with the letter seriously creeped me out when I had the idea, but I knew I had to do it, for reasons that will become clear later on. I would never accuse you of anything based on your place of residence. It's also worthwhile to note that Hitler was WWII Germany and I'm setting the stage for the outbreak of WWI, in which Hitler was a soldier who was severely wounded by mustard gas. So the lovely and diabolical Xenia is not allied with Hitler (although I'm sure that, were she given the chance, she would not hesitate to join his side).

Thanks for all of your comments! Ill clear up the questions you had on Little Voices in the Rain. This story starts right before the start of the 2011-12 hockey season. So, Sidney still had his concussion. The guy mentioned as being engaged is Jordan. And yes, Stella had/has a crush on him.
