Oh bless. I think speaking is pretty vital bc you get to learn all the filler words, like "um" and "like" and the intricacies of each accent. We practised speaking a lot because the IB exam had a really crucial part that was an interview of myself, and also me "writing a story about" and describing a photo. Terrifying stuff. I was so nervous the week of exams that my face exploded with spots
OMG Italian had an "interview with yourself" too on the AP test. I could've answered them decently if the recording had just slowed down haha but filler words and other intricacies are the best part. "Um" is "eh" in Italian as long as you have hand movements you can literally have a conversation by just saying "eh". Different dialects are cool too because some are so different they don't even sound like the standard language anymore. And we can't forget about swear words
Does Chinese or Spanish have special hand movements that mean something?
