Hey so sorry I haven't updated I just haven't been motivated to write and boy many people read it either so again no motivation lol

Thank you for your comment. Alright tips. I really just read a lot of books. I mean a lot. It helps I've taken a creative writing class lol. But really just close your eyes and sit. Imagine what you want your characters to look like and then write it down. Do a rough outline first and then put more details into it. I always go back and re edit and edit some more. It's an easy way to flesh out a story more. Velvet is just the beginning. I'm still working on editing some of the chapters. I try to take comments that correct me and work it into my story and change things. Always follow others people's advice too. Even if they seem a little snarky about it, let it be, they're just trying to help in their own way. I learned that letting people criticize makes me a better writer because they're really right. Lol. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to drop me a message. I'm usually on everyday checking this thing. lol ^^

Thank you for commenting on and recommending my work - Cheated. For advice on characters, if you're planning on writing a long story (unlike mine which was just a one-shot) with multiple characters, I'd write out traits about them beforehand.

This is a roleplay character development template but I think if you stick to this script when writing about your characters, it'll make it much more easier for you and will let the story flow more clearly:

Thanks for comment on the story! :) I'm not good at giving writing advice sorry. And about the characters? Really? Thanks! I had no idea, I just normally write what I think so most of my main characters are practically the same. But I guess if you focus on one thing and continue with that, the character will have a more defined personality. If she's funny, she's always bantering, if cheeky, she's more likely to be happy, if she's serious she would rarely talk and most likely will give her honest opinion. That's all I can say. I always just go with the flow and see what happens. But as of now, I'm focusing on character development. Thanks again! I'll check out some of your stories and say opinions on the way, maybe :)

Thanks you so much for the comment. Now on character development: one thing I always do is think about the character before I write. I actually thought about it for days. What kind of the character do I want them to be? I think about how they're going to act toward other characters and how it's going to effect the plot. Then I just pretty much write. I also revise about 4 or 5 times to make sure I really got the way that I want. My main characters are also based off myself so that helps as well. I ask myself, what would I do in this situation?
