I just really liked how they sound together and I love middle names. Whenever I have a child (which I'm praying for a girl) I'm planning on naming her "Scarlet Lilian" or "Scarlet Lily".

When my mom was pregnant with my youngest brother. All of us were so excited picking out names especially after we knew it would be a boy. We had decided on a name but after he was born, my dad went to fill in his birth certificate, my dad changed the name. -_-" When we saw the birth certificate, we were like, why the name change? And he said, "I like that one better." LOL! But, in the end we're glad that he's a healthy baby.

Maybe you can use both names, like use one of them as the middle name, or something.

Lmao, have fun trying to change his mind. Maybe you can distract him when the nurses are writing down either Naomi or Ian on the birth certificate, lol. Tell him to get you a smoothie or something. ^_^
But that is very cute, I hope everything goes well for you and the child is healthy. You seem like you'll be an amzing mom and I'm very excited for you :)
