Ok so there's a new comment below this one.... I just got your friend request, and you know what, I think you gave a great reason and I really respect what you said :) And you should really get to bed if it's so late (it's only 7pm here), but when you come back online, how are you? :)
I use it for finding new stories as well as getting feedback on my stories so I can improve my writing. :) That's fair enough. I mean, it's easy enough to just ignore what I wrote in the summary anyway haha. I changed it a bit, so hopefully it makes a bit more sense for future comment swappers. It did make sense, and me too! I really enjoy writing that story because it's a different setting and it's fun to play around with that. Life seemed interesting back in those times....
Yeah, I do know. I feel like sometimes you have to have a boring intro chapter, just so everything is set and so things make sense later on. But then again, you can't have it being too boring, but sometimes it's hard not to have it like that. I dunno, I feel like I'm not making much sense... I honestly feel like that story gets a lot better, but it needed that first chapter, even if it wasn't that great. I think I'll stop talking now....
Hey :) So I put that in my summary because I don't see the point in getting a bunch of comments on just the first chapter. It's not the strongest because it's just an intro to set the scene, and people will eventually just say the same thing. I'd like feedback on the rest of the story too, so if someone isn't interested in actually reading the story properly (just need to read a chapter for comment swap), then I'd prefer they pick a random chapter and give some con crit. Does that make sense? Should I make that clearer in the summary?
Thank you, and I'm glad you liked it and will continue to read it. I'd appreciate any comment and any feedback :)
Haha no worries! I love constructive criticism, helps me write better. And I know, it was just a trial story but I think I'm going to keep it. I'm probably going to edit them tonight, but if you have anymore helpful tips, I'd love to hear them :)
Thanks for the lovely comment on Emmah's one shot! She told me about your Darren stories and I'll definitely be checking them out. I'm actually working on a bunch of Darren stories myself, but none are ready for posting yet. I'll keep you updated though. Because you are right, us Darren lovers (StarKids? Gleeks?) should totally stick together! <3
I can tell my friend Lore to check them out? I'm not huge on Darren Criss haha. I mean he's cool and all, but I don't really read stories about him. I only write him for her because she writes me stories about celebs I like haha.
Thanks for the comment on my Darren Criss one-shot! Glad you liked it. There's actually a prequel one-shot to it that is called "Baby It's Cold Outside" (:
Amen to that! Sometimes I have to reread my own stuff to make sure I know where I was going with something... Its moments like that that I want to hit myself over the head with something... Eesh...
Oh my goodness, good point!! I am a moron! :P For some reason my brain was being stupid and seemed to think that Bellatrix carried the family name.. ugh... My bad!
Hey I'm flattered you want to be my friend! :) But I only accept friend requests from people whom I've talked to or am helping out in some way... and, we'v only exchanged a comment and a thank you so far, haha XD
No problem :) I love commenting on stories! It makes my day when I get a comment so it's the least I can go do for my other fellow writers! Do me a favor and check out some of my stories? See if you like any and if you do recommend them? If you have any free time that is!
To make something italicized in stories and such you have to use Mibba BB Code. You can find it here: http://www.mibba.com/forums/bbcode/ It will help you a lot. It shows how to change font size, bold and underline phrases and such, and anything you really need to do. It's pretty neat! (: I have it bookmarked, just so I can look back on it if I need to.
I'm glad you liked Intertwined. Just because "God" killed Cora, it doesn't necessarily make him the bad guy. He just wanted to keep things equal between him and the other Gods. Them coexisting peacefully together was actually something that was said in my Ethics class a month or two ago, and I really liked the idea of it so... yea.
Also, I'm glad you liked I Won't Give up. Thank you for your comments, always appreciated. (:
