Ah, I see. So it's kinda something you've always been used to with him then? That's good, 'cause it was a lifestyle shock for me. However weird it may sound, I much rather would have gotten it when I was in my younger years. That way I wouldn't have had the 'freedom' notion. Like where I could eat what I wanted and live all crazy, only to have it taken away. I think that's what my biggest issue is. My problem with being told I can't. I dislike that phrase, greatly, lol. Oh no genetics, stay healthy! lol.

Yeah, I know it's bad. It's just been a lifelong habit. My dad always said he thought I have ADD but I've never been diagnosed. I would definitely learn a little about it if you don't already know a bit. Because it runs in my family, I never thought I'd have it but here I am, lol. When was your dad diagnosed? It's okay. It sucks but it did make me feel better when they explained to me that there was nothing I could've done, it's genetic. The first thing I thought was "I always take care of myself. Why me? Why now?" But as the doctors said, I could've eaten whatever and it wouldn't have made a difference. I just thought it was shitty that out of me, my brother and my sister I am the healthiest and I am the one that got it, lol. It's ironic and crappy at the same time.

Ahaha, I know how that goes. I mean I don't consider myself a people person either. I don't have the temperament for most, if not all, people. As long as they aren't causing you strife, I will allow them to continue to exist, lol.

I try to take it easy, I just get bored easily and worry too much about getting stuff done.
I wish it were just a diet change. That would be type 2, but unfortunately I have type 1 and it's pretty much a lifestyle change there. I have to watch every single thing I eat and drink, I have to manage an exercise routine and take two different kinds of insulin.

I had to stay in ICU for a week in a half because I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes late last year.
Ever since, my health has been bad. Trying to work 40+ hours a week and going to school full time is reaping havoc on my blood sugar.

I completely support the drifter idea. You have the lifestyle of a hobo but its a little more upstanding and you don't have to sleep under as many bridges. Plus, you set stuff on fire in the circus and its an act. You do that shit anywhere else and its arson. Stupid semantics...

Lmao what were you like in high school?

Well I'm always the selfless one. I do all the chores and I raised myself and my brother and took care of my parents, my dad being an alcoholic/drug addict and my mom being a depressed cripple/drug addict. I don't expect much from anyone. I'm the same way around people I associate myself with. Always the net that catches them. I couldn't get help if I asked for it, let alone hinted for it. You'd think one fucking day out of the year people could take a break from themselves and give me a hug or a "Thank you" or a nod of acknowledgement, but no. I don't know what I was expecting, but none of my friends cared, my dad called only to trash-talk my mom and myself, the plans I had with my "best friend" were cancelled because her boyfriend dropped in last minute and my brother had his first day of school so I was playing mommy all day and didn't get any time with my guy, who seemed to be the only one who gave a damn. Then I got the worst headache I've had in a year, no presents and my mom fucked up my cake, the one thing she's done for me all month and started crying about how bad HER life is when she realized she forgot about me.
Birthdays really just remind me how alone I am. XP

He's not afraid to admit to people I'm his girlfriend, which is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST ASSHOLE, but he's not exactly fond of PDA. lol That's very true. Getting to know someone so intimately isn't something you can be prepared for.
You also live in Bumfuck, Kentucky so I'm sure your selection is limited! I can really only see you in a relationship like in your stories, but I don't know that side of you so it's hard to say. I don't think Lil' Miss 6ft tall, combat-booted gore artist is going to be the perfect housewife. lol

Trying to deny the stress in my life and enjoy my birthday. I'm in a relationship, which is a new experience for me and one that I'm not psychologically prepared to handle, so I'm mildly freaking out over that every now and then but he seems pretty fucking amazing so far and I'm trying to be positive. Another new experience. *sigh* But I've been pretty good, thank you.
