I've read original fictions that are better than fan fictions and I wonder why they don't get as much views as the fan fictions.

Exactly. I've run into similar issues and have since just focused on my band fics. I'm actually working on a special chapter for one of them and a rewrite for a completely different one right now. I used to have the one I'm rewriting on here, but when I deleted my old account...well...poof. I got a lot more views on that one than I did on my original fic, though. And I only got about 45-max. So that's saying something about the lack of interest in original works.

I've had hard times writing original fiction. When it doesn't say it involves one direction or Justin Bieber or whatever, people don't read it. I've just deleted all my original fictions because nobody would read them.

I can't believe how much hype has been raised over One Direction. It's like the Justin Bieber fiasco all over again. Why do these dudes attract all the crazy tween girls? And I'm not saying that to be mean, I mean quite literally insane. It's okay if they just like the band, that they appreciate the music, but if they're willing to cut themselves over it... -sigh- What's wrong with these kids!? If my favorite band suddenly turned into a techno quintet that did crack all day, I'd just stop listening to them - I wouldn't try to kill myself! People disappoint me...

I'm glad to hear someone who's actually interested in original fictions. Not many people are willing to give them a chance because they're rarely written to their liking (i.e. involving Justin Bieber or Harry Styles). Original fiction has a harder time drawing people in because of the foreign territory. I have quite a few original things I wrote, but most are quite "dark" and more like short stories or poems. I did write a weird "love story" using animal counter parts in place of the people I was thinking about, but I threw it away because it freaked me out after I read it a few weeks later... I don't like my inner workings and reading how vulnerable I was then... It was quite disturbing.

Sorry, I tend to think into my keyboard and just write away. I don't care what someone might think of it so I tend to just go on boundlessly. If I'm boring you or frightening you, I apologize.

I would totally read your original fiction. To be honest, I prefer original fiction to fan fiction because a lot of fan fiction is about One Direction and bands I've never heard of.

I see. I'm more of a Black Veil Brides girl myself, but I do my fair share of writing. The only stuff I have out is on Wattpad and that site that I told you was driving me crazy. I might use this site for my original work, but I stop and and think how few people will be interested in something original - not fan fiction. This may just remain a social portal for me.

I don't know much French, but I studied a little for a year. It's been a little bit since then so forgive me if I'm a little shaky on it.
I had an account here two years ago I think. I never used it much in the first place, but this site has changed a lot since then! I have to learn it all over again it seems.
Other than that, I'm not sure how much I'll really be using it this time around. I'm not fond of the writing system since I copy and paste from a program on my computer. It's actually meant for sharing presentations, but I use it for writing. My original intention by making this account was to make talking to my friend easier since the site we originally met on is starting to make us both crazy.
