i totally accidentally unfollowed you on tumblr in a unfollow-happy spree yesterday or something because i was like "oh, she has tumblr. oh, i used to follow her. why did i unfollow her?"

either way, i can't express to everyone who reads my stuff how flattering it is that you like it. it kind of blows my mind. and i'll definitely keep you in the loop. i'm in the process of typing up and editing the prologue. thanksgiving break = ACTUAL FREE TIME. i've been struggling to actually write nowadays, so i'm hoping to break that block real soon.

Aha I plan on getting as much free stuff as possible, even if it means mooching off other people...
Same here, and it sucks that it's only like 20% off or something ridiculously small like that.

Sadly no. They don't know we're together. I'm keeping them out of the loop on this one.

Right, there are a lot of student prices for things here like movies, some restaurants, stuff like that. But there are random coupons you can get from the school that you need your student ID to use, too.
    Hahaha exactly!

Oh no, it's for like 7 AM to 6 PM. They do it by hours here, usually the first hour is ten bucks, twenty bucks for three, etc etc.
IKR?! I don't get a discount anywhere, and it sucks because high schoolers get a ton of discounts. Most high schoolers use their parents' money and college kids use their own so wouldn't it make more sense to give college kids discounts? Apparently not. What pisses me off the most is that I don't get student fare on the train because that's how I get home. Argh.
I'm trying to do so as well! She thinks we aren't important or something.

omg they dictate where private vehicles can and can't drive?! What even, that's SO weird. Exactly! Ugh my friend and I are going to see TSS at this place in Milwaukee (my first time going there) and we have to drive and parking is supposed to be the worst. I'm going to go crazy that night. Yeah, it's ridiculously expensive everywhere, and that was only for four hours. Some all day lots are $60 a day...
Hahahaha oh LORD I am awful at bumper cars, and those go carts you drive on a 8 track? Ugh I can never get it right. The train is terrible, it's 6 buck each way from here to Chicago! And for some reason, college kids don't count as students so I don't get my discount anymore.

So you really want a sequel? Really? I kind of want to write one but at the same time I don't know how many people would actually read it.

Damn, I wish there was only one stop between Chicago and me, there are like 15. :P
Ugh parking here is miserable, and terribly expensive. When we saw Jack's and fun. the second day, the one kid we were with insisted he drive and insisted he park where he wanted to. I knew of a parking garage a block away from the venue for $8 but he didn't listen to me, and we ended up paying $26 for four hours. Well, driving anywhere in the city is pretty awful actually haha, I'd imagine it's similar to London's traffic.
Ah, okay. You can get your permit at 15 then license at 16 here, but I didn't get my permit til a month before my 18th and I hate driving, so I doubt I'll be getting my license anytime soon aha.

See, I loooved riding the train to Chicago and back when I first started riding it, but now I'm on it a few times a month and there's no new scenery, I have the list of stops memorized as they're announced. It's no fun aha. The El/subway in the city is my absolute favorite thing ever, mainly because it's in the city and you see all the pretty buildings and streets and all that.
Blah that's no fun they skip Sheffield! Chicago has every sized venue you could want, but for some odd reason venues out here in the suburbs keep popping up and bands play there. Now, I have two that are each within 15 minutes of me, and one of them I am in love with, so it's cool if bands play there. One's about a half hour away that I adore too, so it's okay if bands stop there too. Fiesta, and what used to be Mojoe's, are about an hour 15 away from me and while Mojoe's was my favorite venue, I'm kinda glad it closed because it was a hassle to get to.
Oi, I can go and get my license anytime now, except I haven't driven since February and I have no money/need for a car haha. I think I'll wait a bit longer. Is it normal for kids to get their licenses right when they turn 18 in the UK? 18 is the age to drive, right?
Aah, perfect! I'd do all the pretty stuff for free, just so I could have some fun with my job!

Ugh yeah for sure, unfortunately I'm willing to lose sleep for shows which is probably really bad but ah well...Actually, Milwaukee is a lot closer (about 20 minutes) Chicago is an hour and a half train ride, which is only 20 minutes longer than what it is from my house so it's not ad at all and I'm used to it. What's bad is that transportation from my college absolutely sucks. The latest bus back from Milwaukee leave at 9 pm which is way too early for a show to be out, but the only trains going to Chicago leave at weird times, on Saturdays the only two are 8:50 am and 6:40 pm, so I have to take the morning one and either bum around Chicago for six hours or come home for three (which is two more hour long train rides which I hate) sooo looks like i'll be spending a lot of time shopping in the city! How many towns are around you that host a lot of shows?
Aaah the parents not driving thing is my problem for shows not in Chicago, I feel ya there. My friends hate driving me around everywhere, too...
Hahaha exactly! I can do some fancy designs or something, make them look all nice for the funeral.
