Thanks for the advice! yes, the oh so magical cube makes me feel smarticle (and even though that´s not an actually word I love to use it). well th tremiester has been worried cus the mother says my eyes are turning yellow
and im apparently losing to much weight o.O im trying to lose weight u know cus im chubby so yeh and well ive been eating ok and yeh my mom is worried and imworried about why my eyes are yellow so drinking water u know. and um yeh im on a quest to lose weight o.O

The original video I saw for Sunny Came Home was a live version that Shawn did at the Lillith Fair Festival in 1997, after a while I discovered that there was an official video. However, it still took me a while to figure out what she was talking about because the haunting lyrics are intertwined with that catchy melody. The official video is very cool in my opinion; however, my mother and I have had several long discussions about the song and the lyrics, and she wonders why Shawn would write a song like that, and if it revealed anything (subconsciously) going on in her mind at the time. I assured her that the song is just about a character according to Shawn, but my mom still wonders.

I just noticed that as well, regarding our "About Me's" and am thinking "oh that's interesting". I think that you've got it a bit worse though dealing with sixteen year olds, although it seems that some people that I had in my freshman year of college still hadn't come around to the idea that someone's not going to be there making sure they get their work done or get up to be at class on time.

What other kind of music do you like?

I went to a concert in West Virginia over the 4th of July, and saw a singer/guitarist by the name of Kathy Mattea, she's been around since the mid-1980's on the country music scene in Nashville, but has more recently gotten into more acoustic/folk music. She's one of the few artists that takes time to talk to people, sign things for them and take pictures.

Hey, thanks for the comment! It is nice to meet another Shawn Colvin fan. I happened upon her one day on YouTube, because I was actually looking up videos of Mary Chapin Carpenter. As it turns out Mary Chapin is a long time friend of Shawn's, and the video that I saw had them singing together on a porch.

As for the story - yes, I know how that goes. I plan things as well but then work seems to get in the way and all my writing goes on the back burner. If you do find the time to continue the story, let me know. :-)
