Well, the biggest and most hated use by Annie will be explained a little later in a flashback. Other than that, it was more so the fact that she could go our during the day, so they could use her to hunt during the day. Since before vampires outted themselves, a lot of people still believed vampires exsisted, but it wasn't ever definite. It was more so a myth. But since they could only go out at night, they did their feeding then. So after a little while, they had to be very careful when they hunted because there would be officers and such out keeping an eye out. So the fact that Annie could hunt for them during the day, it not only canceled out the chance of it being by vampires, but not too many people were watching out for "murders" durning the day.
Plus, she could go out and do their dirty work. Such as, if they needed another vampire killed, she could go to their sleeping spot during the day and kill them. She did a lot of other errands for them that could only be done during the day.
And, another big part of it is just to piss Eric off. So he wants to keep her or kill her even if he doesn't need her services anymore just because he and Eric hate each other., Hahah.

But like I said, there's a bigger, more painful reason why they took her, and it will be revealed in a part of the story. The rest of what I told you is going to be explained in one of Anatasia's flashbacks.

God, this came out to be so long! I had a really hard time explaining the hunting part without it being in story form. Hahaha. Sorry I made you read something so damn long without it being a chapter of my story! hahah.
