Reality is a petty child who hogs everything he doesn't want you to have. Pay him no heed.

It doesn't make me think you're lazy. It makes me think you're afraid of failing; I think you're afraid that maybe you aren't as good as you think you are and you need to have the excuse of "well, it's only a first draft" to make yourself feel secure.

Just a wild guess, mainly because that's exactly how I am. Supposedly it's a form of perfectionism, or so they tell me. Whatever it is, it's based in fear, and all it does is let you hold yourself back.

Also, you don't need a literary education to know what to change it into. Change it into something beautiful, whatever that may mean for you. You never know what you might think of. Check this out:
