i can answer one of your questions! haha Deni is in NINTH grade. in the prologue it was the end of her eighth grade year, after which she went to summer fat camp and then began her freshman year. so she's fifteen.
and i realize that a lot of the story doesn't make sense right now, but trust me explanations will come:)
