LONG TIME NO COMMENTING! How are you? How's the horse? I was working my hafie under saddle but he ran into a nail on a fence where we bored an now he has five stiches on his shoulder poor bugger. Well had another cross country schooling and did a 2 foot down bank with tall grass and made it into a 4 - 4 1/2 ft dropp so scarey and the trainer made us do it like ten times to get it right. We head to the horse park in two weeks for Kentucky Classique. Excited and nervous as his first owner's coming to see him while we're there and cheer us on but it'll be a blast. Have you showed any recently? Clinics? also do you happen to have a facebook?

It had just rained and there was a huge puddle in our ring right in front of the jump. From the begininng, my horse Ali was obviously spooking at it and I could barely get her to go through it. So she calls my name to jump and Ali swerves away from the puddle and, thus, away from the jump. A few more times like this and my teacher grabs a driving whip and gets on one side of the jump. Still, Ali is swerving away. She's pretty young adn pretty strong and I couldn't keep her in place. So as we come up again, I finally get Ali into it straight and about to strides away from the jump, my teacher cracked Ali with the driving whip and she spooked and just rhgouh herself over the jump to early and nearly galloped away. I was like *facepalm* THANKS. This week, riding Susie, another slightly green horse, I caught my first buck. This stable is dangerous XD

Oooh, a social life, I need to get me one of them.

How bout you, any good stories?

OMG My horse parker's doing fan-freakin-tastic! We have a clinic with jurgen gholer on sunday at a large cross country training place then drive to richman indiana to ride stadium at this womans place. I'm back to taking lessons with my previous trainer and were getting the good parker out. He's just mind blowingly brave about everything we've reached 2'8" confidently at the canter and should do great this weekend. Its great to be back into eventing and by semptember i think we'll be ready for jump start.

Good luck at the show, I'm making dad video tape and take picture saturday and sunday. lol. Best wishes!

haha! Rolex in a year or two haha! More like five or six. but yeah jumping went great! but it was storming and the tornado sirens were going off and he only freaked at one big boom. I was so happy. We had 5 jumps with flowers under them and he didn't even care.

My dad said the same thing he goes now get on and jump that four foot i was like =O No. lol.

Yay I got 7 pairs of jump cups today and dad's making me some more standards cause i just use two sets with a set of buckets, and a set of white three side jump ends and the step stool, with the muck bucket. But anything to get him out there and expierenced. I hope to see you at some shows as well!

best of luck! I need a new jump saddle mines like 30 years old. and falling apart. I'm going to jump parker inside, trying to work on cantering the jumps and setting up courses.

He's prety in dressage but hates it too, lovez to jump, we free jumped him 4'2" the other day so cool! Then we set up a bounce and he tok a galloping stride, pulled back to a big canter about a stride before and jumped the bounce as an oxer i was like oh my god ROLEX here we come! He's goofy though.

lol that's awsome! I miss riding outside. It's been a good two years as my last horse spooked to much. But eventully i'll get to. Never rode in the rain but at my old barn it was raining at one end and sunny at the other it was awsome.

My old horse would have took off at just the hill lol. That sucks about your hip but at least you got it fixed. I just want a massage. I love eventing but getting back into shape from a four year break is a pain in the arse!

I think mostly eventing. I did dressage for 4 years because my horse was crazy and couldnt compete. I've shown there, it was better when it was paxton farms but yeah it's a nice place to show. I prefure kentucky, when showing. We have a nice cross country place around here that i ride at, so hopefully this horse will be calm and not crazy lol.

i plan to do some local shows then jumpstart! I'm excited, it's nice to be back even at beginner novice. I went to the rodeo while there but it was boring my jack russle wanted to chase the cows.

What about you doing any competing?

I don't know ocean(trainers horse) didn't seem to have a problem he just trotted right though my trainer was more worried about the coffin jump after it. lol. I saw some of the novice sadly missed the prelim.

That's cool. No we didn't get a golf cart i wanted one though. I was down there friday and saturday because we didn't have any one to watch our dogs so we drove back two hours every night. But yeah that's a great score.

And that's just sad that she'd abuse her horse when it was lame. Corse I know someone that would do the same thing sadly.

I'm happy to have anew horse, i can't wait to event again and parker won maydaze beginner novice last year with his first owner so i have a good horse once i detrain him of all the parelli crap someone tourtured him with lol.
