It was hardcore. :/ I took it at a place close to my school and it was ridiculously expensive so now I have to work for my dad to pay it off even though my brother and my sister didn't have to D:<
Yes, I'm on the road officially! I'm so happy. The road test was kind of annoying though, mostly because of the officer and his annoying voice/questions.
That sounds intense! D: I don't think I could survive. I mean, I'm on JV volleyball right now and we have late practices and games and stuff, but I always get my homework done somehow.
I'd have to say, the worst class for tests is drivers ed. In a month and a half of two classes per week on average (the last week was four classes straight D:!) we had about seventy tests, about two to four a class.
This semester I have Honors American Studies 1, Honors English 10, Spanish 3, and Honors Bio 1.
Next semester is gonna kill me, though. (Honors Chem 1, Honors Bio 2, Honors Algebra 2, and Marine Science.) Three science classes. D: I don't think I'll survive to be a junior.
I have a test on chapters 1-10 on Monday and before that, I have to answer like 50 questions on them. I have so much homework this weekend it's not even funny...
Hmm, I just finished chapter eight last night. Before, it seemed a little disconnected, but now it's starting to get into the story, so I like it. How about you?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of that. I'm just glad that we can drop whatever we want as well - as long as we still take one language. If I'd had to continue with certain things - French and Music being two examples - I really might've lost it. The teaching is just so bad in some subjects. Evidence One: I've been studying keyboard in Music class for three years, and the only thing I can play is the Death March. No joke. The teachers were so awful.
Ooh, no, we don't have testing-out. Anyone can study anything - except for Support, which is for people who aren't gonna pass English and Math without help, and Additional Maths, which is only for people in the top class. I have been forced into taking Add Maths :/
That's pretty cool. Is it hard to teach yourself a language? Cause I really want to start learning German on my own, but I'm a bit wary of it. I already study Japanese, and I've just taken up Russian too, so...
Err, we used to. For the first three years of secondary school, we had one lesson a week, but I've dropped it now (: So, never again. Yay! I really hated it. We never learned anything useful... it was always spreadsheets, or databases. Youu?
hmm..I'm reading Goerge Orwell's 1984, part of some assignment lol.
Have you read any books by Blue Balliet (Chasing Vermeer, the Wright Three), my friend hates those books, but i really like them
