thanks... I just really hate it when people b***h and whine about stuff, and I don't want to seem possessive or jealous when I'm really not like that at all. I have nothing wrong with him talking to my friends, and honestly... I don't even know how much he and Jess have been talking. I'm just paranoid and I don't want to make a huge deal out of what could be nothing.

The best part about that trick is that the older he gets, the more acceptable it is. Which is awesome, because it makes it a completely legit formula. (ie. an 18 yr-old guy can't date a girl younger than 16, a 16 yr-old can't date someone younger than 15, but say a 30 yr-old has a minimum gf age of 22. So it works.)

haha That's why you don't think about age differences that far back. My parents do that sometimes, and that's the only time it gets super weird. And if it bothers him, just tell him you're within his dating range. You just take his age divided by two, plus 7.

I still don't think its ok, but I'm also just a tad paranoid. I've had friends date guys that seem nice at first, but they end up being huge jerks, not to mention being somewhat abusive (whether the girls realized it or not). The fact that he's 5 years older really isn't that bad, its still 19 and 24, which is perfectly within range. My parents are 9 years apart, so it could always be worse lol.
