Well, the only way for glue-ins to be a mess is if you have someone who's never done them glue them in.
I'm actually getting quite good at them, tbh.
The only downside with clip-ins are they are hell to KEEP in.
Glue-ins are a lot more durable, but mess with your head.
I guess it would all depend on how long you plan on keeping them in for.

Mine's pretty long right now.
It's not that bad straightening it actually.
It takes about a half an hour. /:
But the longer it gets the less curl it has so that helps a lot.
I'm growing it out a little bit more, probably three of four inches.
If you DO do extensions, do clip in.
Glue really, really does destroy your hair.
I know a friend who seriously lost clumps of hair after doing glue-ins.
I used clip ins, they're a little trickier in my opinion, but they're worth it.

You friend IMed me the other night, and when I asked her who she heard about my stories from,& she said you.
I wanted to say thanks for spreading the word and everything, especially for enjoying my stories.
I also wanted to say that I like your hair.
I was going to do something similar with mine, but it's fried to pieces.
I figured I should let it get a little bit healthier before I start messing with it again.
