Well, as long as you have a basic idea of how French works, you can pretty much look up the words you don't know. Poetry just seems so much better in French. It really is a romantic language.
You'll get there. I don't seem to have a problem writing long things. I find it impossible to write short stories though. There just isn't enough time to fully develop a plot or characters! I was actually afraid I wouldn't hit the 50,000 word mark, but the tenth chapter ended up being a beast, over 10,000 words I think. You should try National Novel Writing Month this year. It's a competition (with yourself) to write 50,000 words in one month. You're not competing against anyone else, everyone is really supportive, and the idea is to just write whatever you can without perfecting it or going back to change something. Once you're finished, then you can edit it.June 1st, 2009 at 09:59pm -
excuse me my spelling is terrible but who can blame me after I'm like not breathing from the new moon trailer - well you don't paricularly like it but - wow it was NICEJune 1st, 2009 at 06:06am

Oh don't worry - just penciling her in to the wait hold it . . . .
*drum roll followed by criket noises* . . . .
NEXT CHAPTER!!
Andie is going to do something, Josh and Aiden won't exactly be fighting but will be compeating over her in a very ferocious way- Anna - your character - will meet up with Kaylen - josh's sister - in the mall or where ever (just because the brothers hate don't mean they do) re connect and something will happen to Andie again in which the girls (Kaylen and Anna) save her from e.t.c. . . .
It may sound all confusing but you'll understand once I post later tomorrowJune 1st, 2009 at 06:04am -

It was really good. And even though it was short it was detailed and a great story. Your other stories are good though, well i havent had a chance to read the third one because i've just started writing my own vampire story, but i will.May 31st, 2009 at 09:36pm

well 17 degrees is probably cold for you, its about 63 degrees fahrenheit, and yeah, water freezes at 0 but it boils at 100.May 21st, 2009 at 05:48pm

No, our summer holiday is about two months starting at the end of june, but its mostly bad weather.
17 degrees C is warm, lol, not cold (well, it is here anyway)
the weather usually ranges between about -5 degrees C and +20 degrees C
although in the heat waves its been up to about 28 degrees C.
haha and sorry for creeping you aut with my avatar, its one of the only pics i have that's small enough for the avatar (that i like)May 18th, 2009 at 01:10pm -
ohh that's cool.
you need to get inspiration from anything you can lol.May 18th, 2009 at 10:32am -
yeah, i get like that with stories sometimes, you just have to keep reading 'til the end, lol, i once was up until 4am trying to finish one story, until i realised my attempts were fruitless when i had about 20 chapters to go.
Yeah, i live in england, it's not very interesting, so your not missing out on much by not visiting. Its pretty much like america, with a different accent and worse weather (well, depending on which part of america). oh and all the weather is messed up.
recently (in the last 3 years now) our summers have been about a week long and in the middle of April and the rest is pretty much winter, and it rains most of the time. It was sunny a bit yesterday and was about 17 degrees C but then it hailed about 2 hours later. XD
And that is the story of england, like i said, not that good :)May 17th, 2009 at 12:37pm -
Lol well she was speaking of bumboism in terms of her stupid way of doing stupid things, you know? Like, falling over, and getting herself into trouble etc. But yeah she is fairly stupid, and boring. And oh God- yeah I read that series- I loved it, because I thought the ending was strange- even though I predicted it a few chapters before it ended.May 17th, 2009 at 10:33am

Ohh God yes! I know!! Someone thought she was a bimbo and then they read my story, and I was afraid they'd think the same about my character, but she didn't so I was pleased lolMay 17th, 2009 at 09:39am

Yeah I can understand that actually. I mean, I liked Twilight, but I thought the relationships were a little too intense too fast, I mean, Bella barely knew Edward and yet she was willing to jump his bones in the Bio Lab... that sort of thing makes me back off a little. lol. Some things should be taken steadily... and this is one of them.May 17th, 2009 at 07:35am

hey that's fair enough lol. I like romantic scenes, but I don't usually have them... well, put it this way- if I do have them, they are in no way as intense as Twilight scenes lolMay 17th, 2009 at 05:58am

Hey, thanks for the story comment :)
Its great when new people start reading and i'm glad you like it, i advise you to read slowly though as my next update might not be for a while as i'm in the middle of important exams at the moment, but hopefully i can get more up, quicker, after im done with them XDMay 16th, 2009 at 12:41pm -
Well, again, I feel like it's much better than Twilight as well as different. Don't worry about it too much. Criticism is a necessary evil, and I honestly can say that in my opinion you're off to a good start at the very least. Don't take it to heart at all.May 12th, 2009 at 11:31pm

lol nah it's awesome- i don't add many romantic scenes as such... but i have cute comments and moments. thats about all.May 10th, 2009 at 10:10am

lol,yes
i would love to see an update!
i love vampire stories like yours (:May 4th, 2009 at 12:11pm
National Novel Writing Month takes place every November. There's a website, and you sign up. You enter the number of words you've written each day, and there are forums for advice and ideas to get rid of writer's block. The idea is quantity, not quality, so you don't have to feel bad if your writing is complete crap. You get weekly emails from professionals to encourage you, and it's really a lot of fun.
