true, very true. ponds and lakes are the free heat-fix, i suppose. still, i feel uncomfortable in the extreme heat, and the humidity makes worse. sweatyness is no fun. >.<
the good thing about cold weather, in my opinion, is that you can bundle up and put on more layers to make yourself warmer. in the summer heat, there's only so much you can take off. :| i feel kind of exposed walking around in short-shorts and a tank top, but when it's 90+ degrees outside, you gotta do what you gotta do.
i usually get strep throat once a year. thankfully, i haven't really gotten it recently. and i hope i don't get it. :/ that's good that he's all better. i haven't really heard much about the swine flu recently. about a month or so ago, though, it was all over the news. i think people coming up from mexico got quarantined. :|
i hate it. it makes everything ten times hotter. i like fog, though. xD i think it's pretty in certain areas. unless you have to drive in it, then it's not fun.
i like it when it's cool outside, but some cold is okay too. heat is good, i suppose, as long as it's not humid. here, it's like 90%+ humidity on a regular basis. it's horrible. :[
aw, haha. that's good. and i know what you mean ;] and yea, it's been getting warmer lately. i don't like the extreme cold, but i hate really really hot weather, and where i live, it gets really really hot in the summer.
ah dude, my boyfriend's birthday is friday! that's cool. i understand what you're saying, though. with my last boyfriend, i just always made him some dinky little trinket, just something small and sentimental since i was always broke. maybe a hug will suffice? xD good luck with a gift though. :]
